Andrea van Pol in gesprek met dichter Tsead Bruinja. Als Dichter des Vaderlands (2019-2020) nam Tsead Bruinja zich voor een inclusieve bloemlezing samen te stellen in 'De eerste bloemlezing van de Nederlandse poëzie'. 101 gedichten uit het Koninkrijk van 1945 tot nu. Immers 'Irakezen, Iraniërs, Amerikanen en anderen hebben in Nederland werk gemaakt dat met ons te maken heeft. Dat grotere verhaal ontbreekt tot nu toe in de bloemlezingen. "Onze" literatuur is die van Remco Campert, Tjitske Jansen en Radna Fabias, maar ook die van Tsjêbbe Hettinga, Jan Glas en Nydia Ecury, van Mowaffk Al-Sawad en Mia You. Tsead Bruinja publiceerde sinds 2000 verscheidene bundels in het Fries en in het Nederlands en stelde enkele bloemlezingen samen. In de periode 2019-2020 was Bruinja Dichter des Vaderlands en schreef hij gedichten bij actualiteiten en trad hij op als ambassadeur van de poëzie.
