Annemieke Bosman in gesprek met Vrouwkje Tuinman, dichter en schrijver. Vorige week verscheen haar nieuwe boek De straaljager. De roman vertelt het levensverhaal van de eigenzinnige Jan Mieremet (1885-1967), Nederlands bekendste wichelroedeloper. Het Poverni kastje van Mieremet, waarmee je aardstralen zou kunnen bestrijden, was ontzettend populair in de jaren veertig en vijftig. De straaljager is het ongelooflijke maar waargebeurde verhaal over de aantrekkingskracht van alternatieve waarheden, over gedrevenheid en buiten de kaders durven leven. Vrouwkje Tuinman schrijft romans, dichtbundels en muziektheaterteksten. Voor haar bundel Lijfrente ontving ze de Grote Poëzieprijs. In 2021 schreef ze het Brabants Boek Present Tijdelijk verblijf. Ze ontving de Halewijnprijs en de C.C.S. Crone-prijs voor haar gehele oeuvre.
