Annemieke Bosman praat met schrijver, theatermaker en presentator Wilfried de Jong over zijn nieuwe boek Schwung. In Schwung vertelt Wilfried de Jong aanstekelijke verhalen die swingen en wringen. De Italiaanse Claudia neemt met haar cassetterecorder lichaamsgeluiden op van nieuwsgierige toeristen, de dakloze Ravi speelt in de Rotterdamse metro iedere dag dezelfde blues, en de Tsjechische instrumentenbouwer Maria kiest de wonderlijkste materialen voor haar contrabassen. De Jong is een observator pur sang; hij geeft zijn ogen de kost en houdt zijn oren op de wind. Wilfried de Jong (1957) is schrijver, theatermaker en presentator. In 2000 debuteerde hij met de verhalenbundel Aal, daarna volgden De linkerbil van Bettini, De man en zijn fiets, Kop in de wind (Sportboek van het Jaar 2013) en Zweefduik. In 2020 verscheen de succesvolle bundeling De man en zijn wielerverhalen. Onlangs vierde hij de literatuur in het geliefde tv-programma Brommer op zee.
