Het Spoor Terug: Doel. Een Vlaamse thriller aan de Schelde

Na ruim 20 jaar strijd heeft de Vlaamse overheid besloten dat het Scheldedorp Doel tóch mag blijven voortbestaan. Het dorp onder de rook van Antwerpen staat al tientallen jaren op de nominatie om van de kaart te verdwijnen. Het zou plaats moeten maken voor de uitbreiding van de Antwerpse haven, maar het actiecomité Doel 2020 weet via rechtszaken steeds weer sloop van de resterende huizen te voorkomen.Inmiddels telt het onttakelde dorp nog een handjevol inwoners en oogt het als een oorlogsgebied. Niemand weet hoe het nu verder moet en de vraag is of het nog te redden is. Een documentaire over de strijd tussen economisch belang en dorpsbewoners, die alleen maar verliezers lijkt te kennen. René Oomen ging op onderzoek uit.
