Het Spoor Terug: het Tholen van Kees Slager

Geestelijk vader van de documentaire serie Het Spoor Terug en van OVT is journalist en schrijver Kees Slager. Ook al wordt Kees Slager dit jaar tachtig, hij is nog steeds volop aan het werk. Onlangs verscheen van hem een bijzonder boek over zijn geboorte-eiland Tholen. 688 pagina’s, duizenden foto’s en een geschiedenis van de prehistorie tot het heden. Een magnum opus van 5 kilo over de helden, schurken, noeste werkers en schuinsmarcheerders van het eiland. Voor Het Spoor Terug trok Michal Citroen naar Tholen en maakte zij samen met Kees Slager een tocht over het eiland langs de historische plekken die ook te vinden zijn in het boek.
