Precies veertig jaar geleden vertrokken onze jongens naar Libanon om daar als UNIFIL-soldaat de vrede te bewaken. Wat als een ‘makkie’ werd voorgesteld voor een vakantieleger, bleek een zeer zware opgave. In totaal zouden 6.000 blauwhelmen afreizen naar het precaire vredesgebied om daar de Dutch Approach te ontwikkelen. Michal Citroen maakte voor Het Spoor Terug ‘Onze jongens in Libanon’.
