Een documentaire van Lara Nuberg Na het uitroepen van de Indonesische onafhankelijkheid op 17 augustus 1945, kwamen tot eind jaren zestig zo'n 350.000 mensen uit de voormalige kolonie Nederlands-Indië naar Nederland. Onder hen bevond zich ook de grootmoeder van Lara Nuberg. Zij was gemengd, Indo-Europees, maar opgevoed in een Europees georiënteerde familie. In deze documentaire onderzoekt Lara waarom zoveel Indo-Europeanen eigenlijk voor Nederland kozen. Hoe zien betrokkenen met een achtergrond in voormalig Nederlands-Indië verleden, heden en toekomst van Indisch Nederland? Dit is een herhaling van de Radio Doc van 12 juli 2020.
