Edye Godden is the Executive Director of Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy (HETRA) located in Gretna, Nebraska.  HETRA’s mission is to improve the quality of life for adults and children with disabilities through equine assisted activities.  Edye graduated from Creighton University with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She also serves as one HETRA’s occupational therapists and is a PATH International certified instructor.  Edye has been with the HETRA organization since 1991.  She feels very fortunate to be able to combine her two great passions - helping people and love of horses - to help the students achieve a greater level of independence and positive mental health. In 2010 Edye was pleased to announce their program for Veterans. SEE: www.HETRA.org This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me." We focus on the four A's of Recovery: Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation. This is a place for survivor's striving to become thrivers. The front half of show is a featured guest.
