Starting as a membership sales consultant at LA Fitness in the UK and progressing to becoming a multi site franchisee of Vision Personal Training, Alex has helped thousands of people achieve their health, wellbeing and career goals.Alex has been lucky enough to be recognised with a 2015 Telstra Young Business Woman of the Year Finalist Award, a 2016 Small Business Champions Award, 2015 & 2016 Most Valuable Peer of the Year Award and 2016 Franchise of the Year Award.Her passions in business include; customer experience, sales and marketing, partnership procurement/management, brand management and growth as well as building and leading high performance teams and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.In April 2020, Alex took on a new challenge and role as Customer Service Team Leader at Cycling Australia which led to being a key player in the team that worked on Australia’s biggest sporting governance reform with the launch of AusCycling.Alex is a keen triathlete, having represented Australia at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in 2019 in Nice, France and in 2019 qualified to again represent Australia at the Boston Marathon, Ironman 70.3 World Championships and the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii-three races she is determined to complete once the pandemic is over.Alex is passionate about the power a positive experience in sport or recreation can have on communities and individuals and aims to continue to be an influential part of Australia’s sport and recreation landscape for years to come.
