Thank you, Hilton Brown, for joining me today on The Born To Talk Radio Show Podcast!

Hilton.

I’ve know Hilton for a long time, but like all of you listening, you will learn there is much to be said about this man.  It will become clear that Hilton is a devoted family man.  Yes he is a successful professional with Marsh & McLennan, Inc. as a Vice President. However, there is much more you will be learning about my friend Hilton.

Hilton is a mentor with Foster Nation. Their mission is to engage the community to support and empower youth aging out of the foster care system to become self-sufficient. At the core of their work is the belief that we have the power to become better than our life circumstances. Their vision is a self-sufficient life for all foster youth.

Currently, Hilton is the President of the Playa Venice Sunrise Rotary Club, in which I am also a member.  The 1989 Council on Legislation established Service Above Self as the principal motto of Rotary because it best conveys the philosophy of unselfish volunteer service.

Hilton’s Takeaways.

“Be of service to your fellow man. My childhood hero Muhammad Ali: “Service to others is the rent we pay on Earth for our place in Heaven.”  Show love, kindness and compassion to all living things. Even when you look into the eyes of your family dog or cat, you can see that there is a soul in there. Also, meet people where they are mentally, emotionally and spiritually; not where you want them to be.

Don’t place your expectations on others. You never know what they’re going through at that moment. A smile or a hug could truly mean the world to them. And lastly, try to remember: we all run this race called life at different speeds. The good news: we’re all in the race together. So let’s have fun! Peace.”

In Closing.

On a personal note.  When my husband passed away unexpectedly nearly 15 years ago, Hilton was knocking on my door when he heard the news.  You can’t put a price on kindness and support.  That hug at that very moment, meant the world to me.  By the way, Hilton is a professional hugger!!!

Looking for some instant positivity?  Listen in to hear Hilton’s story.

Conversations + Connections = Community

Making the world a better place.  One Story at a time.
