Employers say they want to hire veterans, yet highly qualified military talent is still too often overlooked. The problem isn’t a lack of skills—it’s the challenge of translating military experience into language civilian employers and hiring managers understand. In this episode of the Optimistic Outlook, Kristine Irwin, who leads military talent strategy and partnerships at Siemens, is joined by Charlie Martinez, national lead for the Siemens SkillBridge program, and Cathy Miclat, Director of Career Services at Vets2PM.
