HIS Crazy Love for Us

As we celebrate the feast of the Most Holy Redeemer on July 21, we delve into the heart of the Redemptorist congregation: to spread God's plentiful redemption, and that no one is beyond the reach of His mercy. Fr. Terence shared a captivating story about a man at the airport, waiting to propose to his beloved. This bold, love-fueled act drew the attention of everyone around and showed how love can drive us to do “crazy” things. In the Gospel of John, Jesus conveyed to Nicodemus this same extraordinary love of God, which led Him to send His only Son to bring us back to Him. As we reflect on God's "crazy" love for us, we are called to respond with our own acts of love—loving others abundantly and unconditionally—and becoming the embodiment of God's "crazy" love in the world. -Sunday Homily by Fr.
