Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in John 17 today. Jesus sure did make a lot of people mad. He overturned the money changers, called out the Pharisees and Sadducees, and upset the high priests. He intentionally made a lot of enemies for the purpose of being persecuted and sent to death. How often do we go out of our way to do the same. Most people (myself included) try to avoid conflict, but this accomplished nothing. If we are going to be faithful, some people are going to be upset, and we may get hurt in the process.
