Hive Music Festival Week 149 Round 2: I performed the song "Moving On" by Kodaline. Kodaline is an Irish rock band. This band was known as 21 Demands, before being renamed Kodaline in 2012. source The song I'm performing is titled "Moving On." It's deeply meaningful, telling and depicting the end of a relationship and the painful process of moving on, but also about the hope of finding new love in the future and finding the strength to move on. This song has become a frequent listen for many people experiencing sadness because some of the lyrics convey the hope of returning to the past with the same person. Although the lyrics convey that, we must rise to break out of that rut. Sometimes remembering the past brings us peace, but it hurts because we can't have it anymore. Well, that's all I can say about my performance and the meaning of this song. I hope you enjoy it.
