God bless you all.Rock+Roll I start with this disaster; For a long time I had an inexplicable need to compose a song for my city, and moreover an inexplicable need to record this song at any cost, I don't have the professional resources, so one day I couldn't take it anymore and with the help of my condenser microphone and the magical Adobe Audition and of course my beautiful and inseparable guitar, I began to make that demo of a studio-type song, in fact I recorded 3 songs that I already had ready structurally, among them Mi sol, mi norte . As I have mentioned in other posts before, I am not very fluent in writing lyrics, so it was difficult for me to write a lyric that described Cumaná and that did not sound like a television spot. So the best thing I could think of was to write something as if it were dedicated to a woman, that is, referring to the city as if I were referring to a girl I wanted to conquer... it's like this: "The monument of your head to your feet"...refers to the allegorical symbolic monument to the founding of the city. And well, something like that... although I'm not very expert at writing about it, but this way I was able to flow a little better, although with basic lyrics, but it gave me the rhythm I needed. The perspective I gave to the song is that of someone who does not know these lands but has a great interest in knowing and exploring them. In fact, I wrote that based on myself, since there are many parts of the state of Sucre near Cumaná that I still don't know and I know that one day I will... and that's why I started the song that says "There is a place that I wanna". know". And well, nothing, today I wanted to make this version let's say live to trip the contest and also to share it with you. I really liked this song, and since I had the recording track still saved, I decided to take advantage of it. There I attached the original version that I published on YouTube about 2 years ago, which was when I recorded that demo. I recommend that you listen to the YouTube version and the live version so that you can compare which one sounds worse hahaha, a big hug guys and thank you always. God bless you all. Eres mi sol y mi norte Y senda luna en la noche Lyrics There is a place that I I want to meet It is "The Monument" From your head to your feet... That's why.. where I go It is to your north In every corner I'm going to discover you (X2) Chorus Blue sky, fertile land It's his authentic mood Its sea is pleasure for me And where is it, I go... Where is it, I'm going Because yours is my heart In the cradle of this gulf Where...is he hiding? Yeehh You see it on the horizon...
