Y bueno como siempre con mucho cariño y dedicación vengo a compartir mi entrada con ustedes. En esta ocasión les voy a presentar una "Blues Guitar Improvisation" en la escala de D - G - A. Es la primera vez que hago un blues, y en improvisación. Como he mencionado ya varias veces que a pesar de que mi fuerte es la pàrte instrumenta, este de hecho no lo es la improvisación. Y la verad es que estuve practicándolo un poco por un par de días, ya que aunque en otras improvisaciones he utilizado técnicas del blues y aunque esta base de hecho fue muy básica, nunca había tocado uno de lleno como tal el cual conlleva mucho cambio de ritmo. Sin darme cuenta me quedé pegado en la improvisación y terminé haciendo un video super largo, y fué la primera toma que hice, realmente no iba a poder hacer otro ya que allí había dejado toda mi energía del momento. Realmente le puse empño a esto jaja. Pero al final me di cuenta que algunas partes sonaban muy repetitivas, así que decidí editar el audio de manera que simulara "Cambio de microfonos" en la guitarra jaja y a la vez jugando con la parte visual tratando de generar una sensación de acuerdo al sonido. Realmente así men sentía mientras grababa cada parte jaja La guitarra puede sonar un poco desafinada en primera instancia, ya que las cuerdas están un poco vencidas jaja pero a medida que avanza va tomando un poco de cuerpo. A esta improvisación le he puesto el nombre de "Tripping in a Blues"...Haciendo referencia a que viajas en un bus pero esta vez a través de blues con las imagenes y sonidos que ya le mencioné antes...es como una especie de sueño...algo volado jaja. Hace mucho que no hago participación en este concurso, ya que por lo general siempre voy por el Jamming Zone, siendo este digamos que mi fuerte musical. Pero tenía muchas ganas de hacer esta pequeña versión de esta canción, que a pesar de ser una cación prácticamente nueva, se siente como que ya es todo un clásico contemporáneo de la música urbana, no solo venezolana, sino al menos latinoamericana en general. Creo que hoy en día hay muchísimos venezolanos que se identifican con esta pieza, y debo confersar, en su momento yo fui uno. Como ya es evidente esta pieza se trata de Me rehúso compuesta y escrita por el cante venezolano Danny Ocean lanzada en el año 2016, en un contexto donde el país se encontraba (se encuentra aún peor actualmente) en una grave situación política la cuál originó un exilio masivo, obligando dentro de ello a separar familias, parejas, amistades, o sencillamente a separar a los venezolanos de su país. Hace tiempo que quería hacer este cover, pero realmente es una canción con una vocal muy exigente, no solo por el tipo de voz de Danny Ocean estilo reggae, sino por su tono muy alto. Realmente estuve practicándola mucho durante varios días para poder dominar el ritmo y poder acoplarme al tono...y solo para grabar un pedacito de la canción. Y la verdad me salió mejor de lo que esperaba, aunque en realidad no le haga justicia a lo que es la canción original jaja. Pero en verdad he disfrutado mucho este humilde trabajo y por supuesto lo comparto con todo el cariño con los compañeros y compañeras talentos@s de aquí de la comunidad. Mi sobrina Isabella me estuvo acompañando durante la grabación, así que al final del video le dije que viniera a despedirse. Y bueno nada espero pueda gustarles y llegarle al heart. For this occasion I am going to do an improvisation on a track of a somewhat romantic ballad, a little sensual I would say... which is based on the D minor scale. I have noticed that my latest participations have been a bit repetitive in terms of style, more or less always something similar to a soft and slow style with quite relaxed guitar picks. So this time I wanted to do something different in terms of the sound of the guitar. Adds distortion with a lot of processes on top; I have used a multiband compressor to give life to the brightness, a tube amp simulator with serious distortion, the effect is a mix between flanger and vibrato, in addition to the respective reverbs, I don't remember if you add echo too xD. I actually got very excited and was more saturated than I expected, so I had to level the volumes....but I really liked the way the bends sound. The base of the track is in D minor, I really couldn't distinguish its harmonic circle well, but I suppose that there is an A minor and perhaps a B. Para esta ocasión voy a hacer una improvisación sobre una pista de una balada un poco romántica, un poco sensual diría yo...la cual esta basada en la escala de D minor. He notado que mis últimas participaciones han sido un poco repetitivas en cuanto al estilo, mas o menos siempre algo parecido de estilo suave y lento con picks de guitarra bastante relajados. Las técinas que he utilizado son lo clásico; bends, Escalas pentatónincas y un poco de cromáticas, sweep pickings (aunque no completos), ligaduras, también hice el intento de unos tappings pero casi imposible hacerlos sonar en esta guitarra acústica y sobretodo con el montón de efectos encima, este tipo de técnicas se manejan a la perfección en la guitarra eléctrica e incluso en algunas acústicas con el mástil muy plano como las Ibanez o Fenderpor ejemplo. Y bueno al igual que en mis anteriores publicaciones quiero hacer la invitación a esos panas músicos que siempre están activos acá en la plataforma, la mayoría son guitarristas, algunos son pianistas, lo cierto es que son muy buenos músicos y sería muy genial verlos interactuando en esta genial iniciativa. https://3speak.tv/watch?v=alejandrorigo/fiovrmdi Mis panas como ya mencione en el video me siento muy agradecido y honrado por haberme escogido como uno de los galardonados de esta semana junto al pana David quien hizo un extraordinario trabajo con ese loop de jazz en esa pedalera. tomando en cuenta que hubieron varias entradas valiosas y cargadas de talento realmente es algo honorable para mí. Siento que el tiempo va avanzando rápido y al ver que ya se activo la semana no quiese perder tiempo y hacer mi entrada de una vez. Para mi participacion de esta semana se me ocurrió la idea de utilizar el recurdo del delay. Es un efecto que amo totalmente y que siempre he utilizadon, incluso lo utilizaba como recurso en mi antigua banda de rock para hacer arreglos tipo "espaciales". Y de verdad que es un efecto que aporta bastante magia sobretodo si aprendes a jugar bién con sus tiempos. Hace poco descubrí a un gran guitarrista llamado Estas Tones, el cual me lo recomendó y un gran musico de #Hive el pana Oswaldo, saludos pana. Y me di cuenta que este guitarrista utilizaba mucho este recurso de una manera espléndida. Así que quice hacer algo mas o menos de ese estilo, recordé que habían unos ejercicios con escalas cromáticas con el delay para practicar la ritmica de las canciones, y pues quice hacer algo parecido a este ejercicio el cual sin darme cuenta termino sonando a algo medieval. Para este estilo de jamming me he basado en un D major en intercambio con G major y E menor. Utilice un par de técnicas entre ellas el tap dejando caer el acorde como como una lluvia, jaciendo el acorde al estilo sweep picking pero desglosado y mas lento y con ligaduras. Esta semana vengo a hacer mi presentación con un real jamming, improvisando con la guitarra sobre una pista de Deep Lo-Fi, creo que son mis favoritas. Para esta ocasión estoy utilizando una pista de deep lo-fi en E menor. Como siempre acostumbro a hacer, al menos de la forma que me gusta, utilizando la guitarra acústica y procesando su audio para agregarle algunos efectos para hacerla sonar como una guitara eléctrica o en su defecto, hacerla sonar como si estuviera amplificada. En esta ocasión he utilizado una fusión de flanger con chorus envueltos en un echoe y una mezcla de reverbs...todo un coctel de efectos. A pesar de que no fue mi mejor interacción musical en la improvisación, realmente me gusto mucho como estos efectos forman el ambiente perfecto para el sonido de la pista. Agradezco mucho a esos panas que a veces pasan por mis publicaciones y dejan su comentario, realmente lo aprecio mucho aunque a veces no tengo casi tiempo ni siquiera de entrar a Hive a disfrutar del talento de otros usuarios. Pero siempre que pueda al menos dejo mi voto a esos posts. Es genial ver como este concurso sigue adelante y va creciendo....de verdad se siente como algo familiar cuando entro a revisar la comunidad y veo distintas participaciones del Jamming zone, y numerosas además, es motivador, justo como hoy. En verdad no tenía pensado grabar hoy pero viendo que ya la semana se activo y varios artistas ya han hecho su presentacion entonces no quise perder el tiempo y aprovechando que tengo este dia totalmente disponible pues me puse manos a la obra en esta actividad. Me despido por ahora y me gustaría animar a esos usuarios músicos que tocan instumentos (valga la redundancia), y que hacen distintas participacion en otros concursos incluso cantando.....A que vengan a hacer su presentación en el #JammingZone, sería muy que muy genial ya que son artistas talentosos, pensando especificamente en algunos, y sería brutal ver fluir su destreza de manera orgánica por aquí. Also, the way I had to record this, that was improvisation, starting because I don't have headphones and the monitoring was difficult, I had to put the track playing in the background with low volume so that a lot of noise wouldn't come in when I had to edit the guitar audio, and I could barely hear it and keep up with the rhythm. I had to record it many times because there was always an incident; First it turns out that I was recording with the wrong microphone, then it turns out that the video was being recorded without audio, until in the end it was able to come out, although with a couple of errors with the tempo in a couple of phrases, but it was the best take I ever had. Tenía bastante rato sin participar debido a que he estado un poco ocupado con un trabajito por alli. Pero tenía muchas ganas de grabar este guitarcover y esta tenia que ser la ocasión perfecta. Aunque no se trata de un jamming como tal, es una canción compuesta con riffs y demás, pero digamos que hago un groove. Además la forma en la que tuve que grabar esto, eso sí que fue improvisación, empezando porque no tengo audífonos y el monitoreo estuvo difícil, tuve que poner la pista sonando al fondo con bajo volumen para que no entrara mucho ruido cuando tuviera que editar el audio de la guitarra, y apenas podía escucharla y llevar el ritmo. Creo que todos lo que participamos en esta coomunidad también conocemos el #VibesWeb3, y sabemos que esta semana hubo un tema acerca de la discografía del artista DJ/productor Sam Feldt. No puse mi atención en el tema ya que estaba enfocado en otra versión en la que venía trabajando desde días atrás...la cual incluso ni siquiera pude llevar a cabo porque se me había partido la cuerda de la guitarra y la cual de hecho aún no he podido reponer y evidentemente esta versión de guitarra también la he hecho sin esa cuerda...y entonces termine haciendo otra versión, pero ese es otro cuento. Lo que quiero contarles es que empece a ver entradas maravillosas y geniales de otros compañeros con ideas muy creativas y con muestra de una gran destreza en talento, y me sorprendio muchisimo esa magia...Así al fin entendí que se trataba de hacerle un arreglo a alguna de las canciones de la nueva discografía de Sam Feldt....y una de las canciones que mas he escuchado y la he escuchado tanto que ahora me gusta fue esta; MI AMOR. Nuevamente vengo a compartir con ustedes una entrega de este experimento que he estado probando llamado "Guitar On Meditation". Para esta ocasión realicé una pequeña armonía de G7...que sería; G7, C7, Am7 y E7. Y en el final un pequeño ciclo de E7 y A7....Hice una versión mas lenta y pausada y agregué además muchos arpeggios...y aquí esta vez practiqué un poco premeditadamente, a pesar de finalmente fue una improvisación total, pero tenía una idea mas sólida de lo que iba a hacer fluir. El final creo que fue lo que mas tenía "sólidamente" preparado, solo dos acordes y el ritmo con arpeggio"..solo improvise con la parte vocal. Por cierto que en esta versión también quise hacer algo diferente, que fue agregar algunos coros vocales. No sé porque insisto tano en querer usar mi voz como recurso musical, como si de un gran vocalista se tratara jajaja pero sinceramente en esta ocasión, gracias a montón de un reverbs y de efectos marcianos del Adobe Audition pude algo de magia nuevamente. Una pequeño hecho curioso que me ocurrió el día de hoy fue que se me partió una cuerda de la guitarra, el "Mi primo" osea la cuerda mas finita. (Que: Dato curioso y talvez innecesario aparte - Por si acaso habrá alguien no lo sabe - las cuerdas de la guitarra se cuentan de abajo hacia arriba, por tanto la primera cuerda es la mas finita. A ver como empiezo con este desastre; Llevaba mucho tiempo con una inexplicable necesidad de componerle una canción a mi ciudad, y más encima una inexplicable necesidad de grabar esta canción a como dé lugar, yo no cuento con los recursos profesionales, así que un día no aguanté más y con la ayuda de mi micrófono condensador y el mágico Adobe Audition y por supuesto mi hermosa e inseparable guitarra, empecé a fabricar esa maqueta de un tema tipo estudio, de hecho grabé 3 temas que ya tenía listos estructuralmente, entre ellos Mi sol, mi norte. Como he mencionado en otros posts anteriormente, yo no soy muy fluído para escribir letras, así que me costó escribir una letra que describiera a Cumaná y que no sonara como a cuña de televisión. Así que lo mejor que se me ocurrió fué escribir algo como si estuviera dedicado a una mujer, es decir, refiriéndome a la ciudad como si me refiriera a una chica a la cuál quisiera conquistar..es así que "El monumento de tu cabeza a tus pies"..se refiere al monumento simbólico alegórico a la fundación de la ciudad. Y bueno algo así...aunque tampoco es que sea muy experto escribiendo al respecto, pero de esta manera pude fluir un poco mejor aunque con una letra básica pero que me dió el ritmo que necesitaba. La perspectiva que le dí a la canción es como de alguien que no conoce estas tierras pero que tiene un gran interés en conocerlas y explorarlas. De hecho eso lo escribí así basado en mí mismo, ya que hay muchas parte del estado Sucre cercanas a Cumaná que yo aún no conozco y sé que algún día conoceré...y por eso inicié la canción diciendo "Hay un lugar que yo quiero conocer". Mis panas había pensado en hacer hoy una "Guitar on Meditation", Pero ya que es fin de de semana (Sábado) amerita de algo más alegre y más activo. Así que decidí optar por una "Funky Improvisation". El funk es uno de los estilos que más me gusta para improvisación..bueno, eso cuando improsivo, porque generalmente mi forma de hacer música es más al estilo producido o basado en una composición, aunque sea lo más simple. Pero algunas veces en algún momento aleatorio, sentado en mi pc trabajando una tarde calurosa y para liberar tensión por un momento agarro la guitarra y lo primero que se me ocurre es un solo libre al estilo funky..acompañado de algunos riffs con ligaduras en la barra de Do menor....por cierto que el track que he usado es en Cminor (Do menor) lo cual fue muy cómodo, aunque me hubiera gustado hacer una descarga un poco más fluída, pero realmente es un poco difícil hacer las escalas y algunos estilos de solo en la guitarra acústica, por la altura y presión de las cuerdas y por el tamaño del mástil, esto también hacía que cueste mantener el ritmo a veces...una gran diferencia respecto a una guitarra eléctrica donde sería mucho más práctico...pero sé que eso está por venir (Amén). Y fué entonces que por sorpresas del destino conocí de cerca la música maravillosa y brutal de una banda orquesta venezolana llamada Guaco, la cual hace una fusión de generos tropicales pero basados en el jazz y en funk. Surgió una oportunidad inesperada de tocar con una orquesta que versionaba canciones de Guaco, y pues esto para mí era nuevo. Así que tuve que estudiar sus canciones a oído y a vista, y pues así fue como aprendí una forma de tocar la guitarra, no solo para el funk sino para muchísimas otras cosas más. Pero la que obviamente escogí es muy especial para mí porque es mi cancion favorita no solo de Soda y no solo del Rock en general, sino de cualquier época. Y pues quise hacer esta vez, según yo, una versión mejorada vocalmente...pero pude compararla con la versión anterior y creo que no mejoró nada, quizá hasta suene peor jajaja La verdad es que esta vez si logré mejorar el sonido, aunque creo que abusé un poco de los compresores, soy adicto a esos compresores, en esta versión tuve que utilizar al menos unos 3 distintos para poder nivelar los graves de la guitarra y darle mayor ganancia a la voz y así mantener una salida de audio lo más equilibrada posible. También exageré un poco con el reverb (he descubierto un revervb en el Adobe Audition que me tiene loco) Y bueno no puedo evitar descontrolarme cada vez que estoy editanto y me toca usarlo. También hize una mejora en la armonía de la guitarra, ya que estaba errónea y pues la corregí para que así ahora pudiera hacer mejor armonía con la melodía vocal. También se que la mayoria de acordes son disminuidos y septimas alterados. Creo que esta un poco cargado ya que relmente los videos que vi eran de ritmo mucho mas pausado y de armonía mas sencilla...De hecho ni siquiera podría decirse que tuviera una armonía como tal..eran mas bién combinaciones de acordes con algún arpegio de de por medio....es que tomas un par de acordes de estos y los tocas juntos y suenan como el cielo. Entonces ya tengo el compromiso conmigo mismo de estudiar bién algunos de estos acordes y preparar una nueva versión...también estudiar las somatizaciones ya que pude monitorear que muchos golpes sonaron muy fuerte, incluso algunos arpegios sonaron muy golpeados...al principio puede sonar un poco ruda, pero luego se va somatizando poco a poco. Pensé en volver a grabarla para corregir las partes que quedaron muy fallidas, pero también pensé "bueno de eso se trata un jamming, de algo totalmente espontáneo" y pues eso fué. Realmente había practicado un poco antes ya que de verdad que la improvisación como tal no es lo mío, de hecho había preparado un par de cosas, algunos arreglos en ciertas partes....pero lo olvidé por completo, el momento me llevó. En la parte del funky había preparado un arreglo que formaba una melodía muy bonita con el circulo armnónica, pero la olvidé por completo así que tuve que en la post-edición tuve que agregarle un efecto para que pudiera sonar como algo espacial o algo parecido...pero no dejaba de sonar fallido jajaj. Estuve allí gran parte del video pensando en si debía seguir o parar, ya que además no escuchaba muy bíen la pista de fondo con bajo volumen ya que no tenía audifonos y esta fué la única forma que encontré de hacerla. De manera que opté por la opción de seguir y me fui entregando cada vez más, conectandome con el beat y la melodía...Creo que la mejor parte son los últimos dos minutos...fué donde pude descargar todo.
