Alright y'all I'm excited today and if you are new here, I'm a sweater and I'm a runner So you're gonna have to keep up your head's gonna be going like this and I am okay. I just sweat a lot I Was really praying and this has been starting my heart for it's gonna sound funny But a couple years now when I went on a missions trip. I was on the plane. We were flying to Nicaragua I believe I was sitting by Miss Autumn back there.
We were we were playing partners. We set by each other I think I think she let me have the window once or twice. Yeah once Yeah, she held up the finger once but when we were flying into Nicaragua, I was I was just sitting on the plane and And I dropped this word into my spirit about a holding pattern and so I'm I'm sitting there and I'm just you know looking out the window and I'm like what holding pattern if you don't know what a Holding pattern is I think I have a picture up here. We thought up for me.
There we go So holding pattern what it is is that see that's the target right there to land and the plane can't land So the pilot you know it gets information that needs to go into a holding pattern and it gets into this rotation Where it just flies around and circles around the destination. It's not lost You hear what I said. It's not lost It's just circling around its destination and the reason it can't land is because they're shuffling the runway There's either other plans landing. There's other things going on the runway is not clear So it's not safe for the plane to land and so the more that I got into this and I'm just asking God I'm like holding pattern What what is this guy like what what's this word that you're giving me and this is what I got it first that he shared with me He said this isn't about planes.
It's about people People who are spiritually stuck Circling the same issues the same lessons the same frustrations and they're stuck in a holding pattern To her tell me this morning. They're stuck in a holding pattern same issues same frustrations Y'all aren't gonna be honest this morning. Hey nobody in here. Feel like they're stuck.
They're circling. Does anybody in here feel like they're just circling There we go. There's some hands. I know God wasn't lying when he gave me this word.
He said they're just they're spiritually stuck Circling and they're in a holding pattern. Hey not cuz they're lost Not because God hasn't prepared the next step But because they're not ready to land it the runway is not clear. They can't land yet They can't land you're not lost the planes not lost. It's circling its destination.
It's not lost. I want to tell some people hey You're at the right destination. I want you to know a lot of people a lot of times. I'm just lost.
You're not lost You're just circling you're just circling you're at the right destination You just can't land yet say it with me holding patterns we So you got your Bibles if you do it hold them up. Yeah, okay. It's all right. We're in the new age New Testament, right? We got those bottles at a touch if you have your bottles turn to Hebrews to chapter 5 This is where we're gonna be at today.
I got a lot to cover so Buckle up Please you may stand up once we reach altitude, but that means when if you get excited come on help me out today turn it to Hebrews chapter 5 Pass with me this morning. He said I feel we're we're gonna reach clear skies You ever been on a plane and in the in the pilot getting ready to take off says all right. It gives us the weather We got clear skies ahead of us. I feel like that's what God's gonna do today He's gonna open us up to some clear skies today.
All right Hebrews chapter 5. You're there say I'm there All right, if you need a minute say hold up. Yeah, everyone's ready So I'm gonna give you a little back story real quick Hebrews was written to a Jewish believers who had started strong in their faith, but we're now drifting Tempted to turn back to old religious systems instead of fully embracing the security of Christ And Hebrews 5 the writer has just introduced something profound Jesus is not just our Savior. He's our high priest But not like the ones from the line of Aaron Jesus is from a higher eternal priesthood in the order of Melchizedek now no pastors talk about this I'm bringing us up the speed to where we're at what we're gonna talk about today He might even dive deeper into that He's great with that, but it says in the order of Melchizedek Melchizedek shows up briefly in Genesis But his role is massive.
He was both a king and a priest something Israel had never seen He didn't get his position from family line, but from divine deployment Here's here's where we're getting to the place of what I want to talk about and what's what's going to what's going to happen Melchizedek was the preview a sneak peek of what was to come and now Jesus steps in as the full reality a priest forever His ministry never ends. Let me put it this way. Melchizedek was the trailer Jesus is the full movie Amen All right But just as the writer is about to go deeper into this rich revelation He pulls the e-brake like going in Stops and says something awesome. You all ready for this?
We're not there yet. So don't pay attention up there yet We have much to say about this But it is hard to explain Because you are slow to learn we have much to say about this revelation There's so much more to say about this revelation of Jesus, but we got a pull the e-brake I'm gonna use a couple different translations church. So just hang with me But why why does he why does he pull the e-brake? They have much more to say so it's not because the revelation wasn't ready But because the people weren't it says that they had grown dull of hearing They're spiritually sluggish The truth was deep but their appetite was shallow The teaching was rich, but they were still stuck on milk So this is where we're gonna pick up in Hebrews 5 verse 11 right in the middle Called a divine interruption if you will he say I want to go deeper But you're not ready to hear it yet and then the rest of chapter 5 I believe it becomes a prophetic checkpoint Calling the readers and us say us to wake up grow up and train up Because revelation without readiness leads to stagnation stag nation Hebrews chapter 5 verse 11 I'm gonna read the new living translation first and then I'm gonna jump into the the holy translation the message First level says there is much more we would like to say about this What is difficult to explain especially since you are spiritually dull and don't seem to listen?
Verse 12 you have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others instead You need someone to teach you again the basic things about God's Word You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food verse 13 for someone who lives on milk is still an infant And does not know how to do what is right? Solid food is for those who are mature same mature who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong Someone say amen. All right Now the holy translation the message it's up on the there you go. Thank you sir Verse 11 reach like this I have a lot more to say about this But it is hard to get it across to you since you've picked up this bad habit of not listening By this time you ought to be teachers yourself yet here I find you need someone to sit down with you and go over the basics on God again Starting from square one babies milk when you should have been on solid food long ago Milk is for beginners say beginners Inexperienced in God's ways solid food is for the mature who have some practice and telling right from wrong Father, thank you for your word.
God. I thank you that it's meant to grow us I thank you that is for us father as that today that you would open our hearts our ears our eyes father to the truth of Who you are and what your scripture is for that we would grow in maturity that we wouldn't be spiritually immature father That we would grow in maturity so we could receive the deeper revelations of who you are and what you're growing us to and the church said Amen, you're circling Here's the first point. I'd like to touch on doll ears create delays Hebrew 511 some of your translations depend on what it has just follow with me you have become dull of hearing Doll of hearing doll the translation of the word is sluggish lazy slow to respond. I want to point out something Super important here.
It says you have become Church, you know what that implies that at one point You weren't dull you were hearing correctly You were understanding you are where you were supposed to be but over time you can become dull sluggish lazy Help us. I want to say this. It's not a lack of intelligence It's a lack of Intentionality I think when we stop becoming intentional intentional about the word About wanting to dive deep into this thing. We get into these places.
We fall into these places these holding patterns And it's not like we can't we never once were at a place where we're not hearing We're not any of us is saying you became this way I got a question. Does anybody in here feel like they just became at this place where they're stuck? Yeah, not everyone's gonna raise their hands It's if you're gonna be honest with yourselves today. Have you become at a place in your life spiritually?
But you just feel stuck you just feel circling I want to encourage you today that I don't believe We're gonna get into a lot of things say but I just think it's because you've stopped being intentional You weren't that way before but now you found yourself there. I Want to say this? It's okay I'm not here to beat people up I'm here to help people that are stuck in a pattern to get out of it So God can begin to land real revelation on your life to continue to grow you in the areas that you once we're growing in hearing in But you've stopped and you're just circling. Oh, this is gonna be good church I'm gonna say it's not always caused by ignorance, but just simply spiritual laziness See when we stop leaning in we stop growing Spiritual laziness leads to missed revelation When you miss revelation you delay your assignment.
I think we can see by this that When your ears get dull your destiny gets delayed You can't hear heaven with a heart full of heavy. You know how many people I've just I've encountered I've done it in my life Where it's just this hurry hurry hurry busy busy things just get going crazy and you know And I find myself just in this place anybody else ever been there with me that you just get so busy You're in a hurry for everything. You just feel like you can't hear God anymore. Amen.
I told pastor I was like hey, I need God to stop speaking so I can land this plane today He's like well, he's never gonna stop speaking so the reality is is it's not that he stops speaking to you It's just you're not hearing You're dull of hearing and that God is trying to continuously speak to you because he loves you He cares about you you're going somewhere. He wants to land something in your life so he can continue to grow you into what he's called you to do You just stopped hearing. I think this is a spiritual condition that happens over time not overnight I said I think this is something that happens over time. It don't just you don't just wake up one day and it's like I Don't hear you God It's something that what does laziness do I'll tell y'all I skipped the gym one day.
I'm even back since Me and me and my buddy just got back the other day for like a half hours like you good I'm like yeah, I'm good, bro. I don't like this place But if I get into it, I'm good laziness right we skip one day and it eventually starts to come Right so let's get honest with our self-church. It's not that this is just why is my people are like why's my life like this? What do you mean?
Because there's spiritual immaturity in your life that you've progressively allowed it to happen through now You're at this place you feel stuck See they didn't lose the message They lost their motivation to hear it God doesn't stop speaking church We stopped stewarding what he already said. I can't encourage enough how much Stewardship of the word is so important but those things that God have spoken to your life that you've got excited about at one point He's dropped a revelation in your life. He's gave you a word You got on fire for and then you just stopped stewarding it and then wonder why it's just you're there It didn't stop You did see your development is delayed when your discipline disappears I had an illustration about anyone sleeping through alarm anybody sleep through their alarm Yeah, all those hands right. I tell you what you hit snooze enough times Shoo I think alarm don't even bother you anymore does it you're actually ever seen those means where they're in it has pops up and people are People are like dancing the alarms going off in there like dancing and then and then the significant others just sitting there like shut it off That's what I started though.
I'm just dancing to my alarm See, but I think I keep sounding the alarm But when you treat divine revelation like background noise your growth goes stagnant. I have a couple points to this I have a lot on this first point. I think I heard Kristen saying you guys just should have preached your first point But I got a lot to get through so bear with me I'm gonna run through these because I have the five to finish my first point first one is development is a process not a prayer Prayer is essential, but it's not a shortcut for discipline You don't grow just by asking God to grow you grow by a band when he's already told you Church, I'm learning these things in my life. I used to say god.
I know you could do it. I'm praying God grow me He's like okay. I'll give you something to steward that will grow you if you'll just obey the words and the word that I gave you You'll grow but I'm just sitting here thinking there's so many people. Oh, no God.
I'm just waiting on the Lord He's saying well, will you just steward the word that already gave you see you don't just grow by throwing a prayer up One amen. This is gonna be a long morning You don't mature by memorizing Instagram versus you develop their discipline day in day out obedience to guys work See I think a lot of people are praying for development and growth but skipping the discipline that brings it guys I'm not here to talk ill about social media I'm just saying though if you're just throwing up versus or you're just memorizing something if somebody else thrown up that is that is that lazy Discipline that's just trying to ride the wave of what somebody else may be God speaking to and you're just hopping on to it Because it's easy to click share boom makes me look like I got my God on for the day But what about you getting into your word day in day out being obedient to the word to grow you and the and steward the word that God gave you Getting intentional about this thing Not just popping on Facebook for five minutes or getting a little Bible devotion from the Bible app and then just thinking oh, I'm good now Have you busted open your word and have you got revelation from the Father and has he gave you a word? And if he's giving you a word are you steward in it? Are you carrying it?
Are you just leaving it sit and then praying God growing? He's like I need you to carry it for me to grow it because you need to walk with that thing to understand the growth of who I am and what I can do It's about we serve a God of increase now We were so excited about these these series we've walked through because it's what God was calling us to that He's a God that increases he's a God that he quips he's a like we're trying to go somewhere church It's equipping the one that knows Jesus the one that needs Jesus We can't do that if we're just gonna sit and don't do nothing with the word that he gives us amen Shoo, I'm getting fired up Two God will not promote who refuses to prepare God's blessings have weight and he won't land heavy glory on a weak foundation Discipline is heaven's fitness plan. No reps. No strength.
That's simple Here's why I say that if you're getting in your feelings God loves you too much to put you in a place you won't survive if you're not willing to prepare for it I'm telling you He's not going to land something heavy everything that the Lord has it's from heaven. It's heavy It's from the great I am the king of kings. It's if it's coming down. Guess what?
It's got weight to it It's gonna be heavy and guess what? He needs a clear runway for that thing to land. It can't be a busy runway He won't he'll keep you stuck in a holding pattern till you prepare till you get ready for it He can't promote those who refuse to prepare Number three discipline positions you to hear spiritual ears sharpen through consistent time in God's word when discipline disappears the sermon goes with it Discipline doesn't earn God's voice It turns you in to recognize in it guys. I'm still on point one.
I have five sub points to point one So if you're looking out there, I didn't give them to you got to pay attention Pastor struggle up here. He's what we got? I know I'm moving through these because I got so much to do I'll give them to you later if you need to catch up with them for delay isn't always the devil Delay isn't always the devil the enemy you guys got your seat belt on Sometimes it's disobedience the delay your blaming on spiritual warfare is really spiritual neglect what church What if you're circling the promise because you abandoned the process. I don't have time But here's what I want to say You're not being punished.
I don't want this to come off like this. We serve a good God a loving God, okay? You're not being punished you're just being pushed back. You're circling.
I believe to a place of discipline for some people He's trying to get you into the place To where you can really grow to where you're in that mode that you can start to receive that you can handle that you're mature enough to carry this thing So when he releases more doesn't crush you, but you carry it you catch it and as you're catching it and carrying it You're growing and he's just releasing releasing and when you need time He sets you back into a place of discipline. You got to start hearing again. You got to start relying on me again You got to start focusing on me again. It's all about me.
Come on. It's me and you relationship here It's me releasing to you God's glory coming down to those who that he loves amen like it's us His sons and daughters that he wants to release to us everything of who he is so we can carry it into the world and help give That to the people that need it so they can be transformed by the Father This is my last sub point if you're held up ask yourself. What have I laid down? Did you lay down your prayer life?
Did you lay down your word life? Did you pick up your Instagram life? Your Facebook real life did you lay down your worship to the Father? That's how he's good The thanking for what he's already gave in you what he's already done in your life.
Did you lay those things down? Here's what I know you can't file on yesterday's discipline If you've stopped showing up, don't be shocked if God stops sending you forward. All right second point You all with me? I'm good on time You've been circling too long Hebrews 512 says by this time you ought to be teachers This is my favorite one when I was studying it.
You know the first phrase that came to mind Everyone's favorite. I just need time Have you said that or have you talked to anyone that said that raise your hand? All right, the ones it didn't you're just lying in church. You're sorry.
I'll pray for you later Everyone I feel like I just need some time just give me some time Here's what I want to tell you I If you just need some time and you think or someone's told you that just time alone will mature you they lied to you and you're lying to yourself Time alone won't do nothing for you. It'll just keep going. You'll just keep circling time alone won't do nothing for you It won't mature you time doesn't equal transformation training does time without obedience only leads to delay The holding limit has a time the holding pattern has a time limit You're only in that thing for so long and then when you're ready and clear to land. That's when landing.
That's when the approach happens So there's a time limit to this Church we don't need time We serve the guy that lives outside of time and space So what is there a time that we need it's not time that we need we need intentionality about the father and about who he is and what he's Spoken to us to stewart that thing to desire that thing to grow in us to get it through us because there's a time that you just you receive right We're learning about that We just receive and we understand and we grow and we do other things But then this is saying to that there's also a time that by now You ought to be teachers You ought to be teachers Can I encourage somebody today? You know how easy it is to teach about God and I get it There's there's a whole lot of to that So don't don't beat me up for saying this but has God done something in your life today raise your hand All you simply have to do to tell the goodness of God the gospel is called the good news if you didn't know that It's called the good news. Here's the good news It's about the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ if you are one way before and now you're another way now Then you can simply say I was like this but God did this in my life That's the good news that is preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and it's that simple you say it was like this now It's like this and I'm telling you church. It's as simple as that we make this thing so complicated It's about him showing up and changing our lives and it's that simple So if you didn't know you just got a teaching lesson today as well that one was free Maturity isn't automatic with age.
It's developed by application See there's lessons God won't let you skip just because you're in a rush. It's about preparing you It's about properly preparing you getting you to the place where you need to be to carry the goodness of what God's going to release to you You weren't meant to circle forever God wants to land something heavy, but the runway has to be ready. You have to be ready church Like this I hope this these scriptures are speaking to you I don't know if you've read this before but it's saying hey listen by now remember you once heard You once heard but you became dull, but by now This is where you should be by now. You've had enough time by now You should be teaching this thing And you know why because it's that good Not because you're that good or if you're waiting for you to be that good then you're waiting for the wrong thing It's that good The gospel is the power of God the good news is the power of God You don't have to be that good.
It's not good. Let's stop waiting. Amen a couple people I think that God's way of delay to preparing you is just discipline rapid mercy See I want to tell you this to that attendance. I'll add in on Sundays Doesn't equal advancement Guys listen if you're just showing up to things and you're not coming prepared you're not coming ready You're not coming expecting for something to happen then you're just going to come and leave the same way And I'm not here to beat no one up.
I'm just trying to encourage you to let you know Don't just show up because it's Sunday show up because you know it's the day with guys people come together that we're gonna grow We're gonna learn we're gonna get filled up so we can go into the world This just this can't be just a feel good This has to be this is a fill up not a feel good But here's the catch it'll feel good once you get filled up. So come on. Let's get serious about this thing It's time for clearance It's time for clearance. You've been circling now.
It's time for clearance See a little Contacts here the believers here have been saved long enough to be poured into others, but they were still stuck needing reminders of the basics This tells me church that you can be around revelation and still be immature And that's why I think about you can be so surrounded by revelation in the word and still stay immature for a long time until you're intentional Point three milk won't sustain what maturity requires Hebrews 512 says you need milk say milk not solid food Milk here's what milk is meaning here comfort foundation introduction Me challenge deep revelation spiritual capacity See I know there's a lot of people that are you know, I've encountered and I'm walking with God I'm seeing all these things and there's a lot of people that yeah, we're called the cast out demons You know the exciting things that everybody wants to do right? I'm gonna encourage you that you can't cast out demons or lead others on a milk based diet I'm not saying that God's not that good. Don't hear me. Don't hear that if you hear me speaking Here's what I'm saying.
You're talking about just the basic foundations, right? This is what's saying that by now you should be so advanced because this word is that good He is that good that he can grow you that he can equip you that he can train you further into carrying out all of these things But you're stuck here I want to give you deeper revelation of who he is so you can grow even more but you're still stuck here You're stuck right at this place on milk Just the basics church. We got to get past the milk remember a couple months ago while we still talking about bread What let's get past the milk because there's me? I don't know about y'all, but I'm tired of milk milk's good.
Don't get me wrong If that's where you're at the foundation is where it has to start But if you're still drinking milk we need to help figure out why you're still drinking milk because we need to help you get to the meat There's meat to this thing. I put this in this is so wrong to say but God will never give steak to someone who still needs a sippy cup church. Listen steak is so much better I'm not beating nobody up. I'm just saying I want you to have steak Dave you want two percent or whole milk now Here's here's what I know church No milk just keeps you in circles.
You can't chew meat with baby teeth You'll never step into maturity sipping on immaturity and you can't Grow strong just sipping on Sundays. I could be a that could be a song. You're welcome Brandon Lake take that I want my royalties Church here's what I'm saying. We we get into these places of battles, right?
Everyone I talked to is always in a battle. They're always in a war. They're always struggling They're always doing this and here's what I'm gonna start saying so don't get offended if I say this to you Is it up there? You can't win battles with baby bottles We start to grow deeper in this thing when we get the revelation from the father to get us through the thing that we're stuck in He's constantly trying to grow us and lead us further into this thing grow us We should be spiritually mature church.
This is talking about spiritual immaturity at this point by now We should not just we heard This is saying we should hear y'all go with me here say yeah good here Teach we're good. We should be grow. There should be a progression in this thing that we're growing that That stuff back there now that I had milk and now that I'm starting to grow teeth that milk just say I don't want that milk no more. I want to choose something that's gonna make me grow milk isn't going It'll nurse you but isn't gonna make you grow you need me to grow there's more to this We got to start chewing off more we got to stop just wanting to sipple milk and start to grow in this thing because we know that There's meat if you know there's a steak in front of you And you just got milk right here you mean to tell me you're gonna stay right here and I think it's because Either a you don't see that there's more there's meat You're not being intentional about it because you're not getting into the word to know that there's more to know that who he is And you're just staying right here because you're comfortable you're stuck.
I Don't want to be in a holding pattern with just milk Lord help us Paul says in first Corinthians first Corinthians That's sound like I'm still drinking milk Got a pacifier First Corinthians chapter 3 verse 2 Paul says this I gave you milk not solid food for you were not yet ready for it You were not yet ready for it church does anybody in here want to be ready for it? Like come on like come on there has like is there not an excitement that there's so much more to this thing That you don't want to just come on Sundays anymore just to come because yeah I want to hear and that was a good message I like the way that he talks about it But I don't like how this person like you realize that's like that's milk to me That's beginner level stuff because if you know they're talking about the word of God the power Then I can leave away from that thing with something because I know it's God's words coming down the heaviness of his words coming down That can land something on my life. We're talking about God's word here. We're talking about meat All right handle the word handling the word is a skill Hebrews 513 Unscaled say unskilled in the word of righteousness Unscaled here the translation of this word means inexperienced and experience ignorant through lack of use ignorant through lack of use Church that's pretty simple means it's just not being used you heard you should be teaching But you're not because there's a lack of use you're unskilled in it You're unskilled in it because you're not using it.
You're not experienced with I don't feel comfortable yet Well, how do you feel comfortable? Use it this is simple. It's just saying use it you need to become comfortable with it You got to use the word you're just unskilled because there's a lack of use It's not because you're not able to you're just not using it. You're not growing it start to use it and you'll become skilled in it I want to say that righteousness here is not just about salvation.
It's about learning to live rightly Walking in maturity. This is the this is what the Lord really share with me at this point Knowing the truth is completely different than handling the truth say to this Guys knowing the truth is completely different than handling the truth We have to move past this. Oh, I know what it says Well, then I'm confused because you're not carrying it You want to know why you're not growing because you know something that you're not picking up and carrying You're claiming to know it acknowledge it, but you're not handling it God wants us to carry the truth He wants us to handle it properly. He wants us to be skilled in it and we can do all of that through him it says you're unskilled because a lack of use Here's what I want to stop seeing church.
We talk about all the time. Well, I'm partnering with guys so we can end it ready I want to just stop quoting scripture and I want to start carrying it I want to start helping people stop quoting things and know where to find the address and pull up to the address in the book But can't get out and walk into the house you can find the address that's fun But you can't get up and realize that you have access into the house that you can now use because it's meant to apply it So you can then live it we got to stop just quoting addresses and know where we're going and just telling people like it's my Fair it's one of the first things that God really showed me in my life that I don't as much care if you can quote that were to love people I am love he said I just want you to love people Don't just tell them you love them show them you love them and that's the word So a whole lot of people can pull up to scripture, but then there's just no evidence of it in their life You're in a holding pattern. It's not landing. You're not carrying yet.
You're just quoting See the word works But only if you work it you're not just you're not going to get skilled just scrolling You're going to get skilled by sewing because you believe in it. There's a big difference. There's a big difference And if you're not sewing you're not planning nothing you're not planning to see you got to sew into this thing You got to believe it enough that you're gonna sell it. I'm on my last point repetition builds revelation Hebrews 514 says this trained by constant practice to Distinguish good from evil trained by constant practice Train say trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil Distinguished the sermon the sermon means the ability to judge rightly trained.
This is where we get the word gymnasium the trained definition we'll get there in a second the train definition and it Gymnazo, I don't know how it said y'all, but it's where we get the word gymnasium This is saying it takes spiritual reps, but I want to show you something. I Must have not put it in there. I was laughing this morning with faster. So Trained this little fun fact. We're gonna have some fun with children So the definition of trained like the definition the Bible word definition.

I'll give you a further breakdown on that later, babe All right, we're back Growth happens When you practice what you've learned growth happens when you practice what you've learned See discernment grows by reps not just revelations You won't develop the discernment inconvenience you develop it in consistency the landing requires training You don't just go from the gate to the sky without learning how to fly Discernment is a developed skill Not just something that you were born with you develop this thing You grow in this thing you work it out I think discernment is one of the believer's favorite words, but I wonder do they do they really understand that there's a development to discerning it says good from evil You do need revelation for that. I didn't put it up there See you don't build discernment by chance. You build it by choice You know you can't just get online and download it. It's a discipline If you're not training you're not landing church Here's the other thing I want to tell you with discernment and if you I'm not here to tell you are you're not operating in it, but here's what I encourage you if you don't train it Please don't trust it. This is something that develops This is an ongoing development to distinguish It says to distinguish from good from evil and there's a constant development and growth in that church And if you don't develop that thing and you don't train that thing I would caution you in using it don't trust it You got to be trained in this it says it's church This is a section.
It's talking about you became dull and hearing you shouldn't be here, but you're not here It's telling it's saying all these things and it's encouraging you're unskilled in handling this There is a constant intentional push to develop to grow to try and train to equip yourself in the word to grow trained by constant practice constant practice I don't know that can mean a lot of different things trained by constant practice to distinguish discern Constant practice to discern good from evil. There's so much that's being said here church You just go into the gym one time and leave you think you're really that's that's not constant practice You think you've reached a certain point of discernment and you've stopped and I'm gonna challenge you that you've stopped at a place And you're gonna stay there you're gonna be in a pattern there because you've learned to this point But this is constant practice that would go so you can distinguish discern right from wrong Have you ever encountered something in your life at one place and then something completely different a following week month? You're down the road Let me help you it takes constant practice to continue to walk into stern good from bad right from wrong Not just a one-time understanding of the stern in the spirit and the spirit is just gonna it's gonna just do everything Well, this says that it will do that, but here's what's happened. It says you've become dull of hearing you stopped hearing You're probably not hearing right from wrong Why because you're still on milk you're still stuck.
You're not growing you're not eating meat you're stuck We got to put this thing into practice We got to continue to grow and maturity Continue to grow and maturity train by constant practice to distinguish good from evil If you don't train it can't trust it. See I think I believe this this flips the calm in mindset I think people expect revelation to come from random moments But I believe this is speaking to us telling us that it often comes through regular practice Revelation isn't reserved for spontaneous God moves in spontaneous ways. I'm not saying that but I think we get to this place where we think that it's just always spontaneous Well, I would propose that it's not reserved for just the spontaneous that it's through practice It's through us applying ourselves understanding getting into the word and growing in that thing and then God can continue to land Heavy heavenly revelation into our lives so we can continue to grow in it if we're not learning and we're on milk And we're not growing why would he give us something that requires a place where you need to be to eat meat to be able to carry this thing out Why would he release that thing to you? I'm not saying he can't I'm asking why would he that's the question?
Because he's drawing us. He's drawing us deeper Revelation isn't reserved for the spontaneous. I believe it's birth and a consistent church if you want sharper discernment Start using what he's already shown you Here's what here's here's a belief of mine and don't beat me up, please But I believe we serve a God that's going to speak more to the sons and daughters that's Stuart Moore. I believe that I believe he will speak more and give you more revelation into your life if you're willing to stew it more All right, I'm gonna start to prepare the runway My goodness Church, I think God wants to land something in your life.
I believe that I believe he wants to land deeper revelation Greater calling a new level of authority, but he's not going to land something if it's unstable immature or crowded I Think some people in here are probably been wondering why your breakthrough hasn't landed I want to encourage you to say you're not being punished. I think you're being prepared for it I think God's circling you over the place He wants to take you, but he's not gonna land if you're not ready Solid food is further mature Church, it's time to mature. It's time to train It's time to clear the runway so God can lead and land the revelation land the calling and land the purpose That he's holding back for your safety. We got to get intentional about things I'm having people church that's stopping me and I don't want to point them out or anything But they're like hey, I've had issues having an issue with my eye and I laid my hand on it and prayed and God healed my eye Like he's moving church He's wanting a people that are gonna grow in maturity To want to carry this word to handle this word that can receive deeper revelation of the Father So we can carry it and release it
