Become a new creature in Christ.

...not so that others can't see it, but so that you're prepared to bring them out whenever called to share His gifts.

Turn on the TV. Look at your phone. Read a headline. We're sure you'll find something to be anxious about quickly. But when you walk in close relationship with the Lord, you know on Whom you can cast your cares.

Treat others with the grace you expect others to grant you.

When you take the time to actually look for evidence of God working around you, you'll start to see Him everywhere.

Jesus told us that we, as His disciples, are the salt and the light of the earth. Use those gifts to influence those around you to follow Him.

God may not have spoken to you today in the form of a burning bush...but have you listened to Him speak to you through the Holy Spirit?

After celebrating Resurrection Sunday, we're reminded that nothing can separate us from the love of God and our savior Jesus Christ.

This week, we remember the intense suffering that our Lord Jesus Christ endured for us - abandonment, betrayal, physical anguish - all so that we may be together for eternity. Join us for worship on Easter Sunday at 10:00 a.m. We're located at 800 Hill Top Drive in Cumberland, Maryland.

We all serve our own desires for earthly wealth. But God calls us to choose whom we will serve. Will we be a servant to the things we can't take with us when we go, or will choose to serve Christ?

God created you. He knows you, and He loves you. And you are enough.

Lead with love and let God have the last word.

Remember the song you sang in Sunday School as a kid - "this little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine?" God gave you unique gifts and talents. Are you using those talents to bring glory to Him?

Let yourself be a mirror of God and His good works so that when others see you, they know that you are His.

It doesn't matter what relationship you're in - you'll inevitably mess up at some point. We won't always be the perfect Valentine. But this Ash Wednesday (2/14), we're reminded that Jesus loves us in spite of our flaws.

Break the cycle of busyness. Decide what you can do - or do without - to grow closer to God during the Lenten season and beyond.

God has blessed each of us with a unique spiritual gift. When you discover your calling, use it to glorify Him.

With God, we find the hope and strength we need to survive an increasingly cruel world. Fix your eyes on Him.

Do better. Be bolder. Act braver. Love harder. Imagine if we all made the commitment to accomplish what Jesus knows we're capable of.

Don't let your emotions in the moment get the best of you - God has not left you or abandoned you. Instead, consider that God may be using your current plight to help you grow.

Don't let the unknowns of the new year give you anxiety. Instead, enter the new year with an adventurous spirit, knowing that where God guides, He provides.

You can make your resolutions and worry about what may come in the new year ahead - but He knows the plans He has for you, and at the end of the day, that's all that matters. Trust Him.

What magnificent task will God ask you to do that will change the world? When He asks, have the faith like Mary to say YES.

Delight thyself also in the LORD thy God; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. We have no problem making our Christmas lists for Santa each year - but are you fulfilled by those earthly wishes?

The Christmas season and all its busyness is upon us. Challenge yourself to find rest in God and His peace... ...and, remember the true meaning of CHRISTmas.

Forgive them. Forgive yourself. Let it go. And experience the change that God will make within your life and lives of those around you.

There is time for mourning and grieving. But after that comes the time to take God's hand and move forward with Him into His joy. -- Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Treat it as a holy day - be sure to give God thanks for all the blessings He has so freely given you.

Work certainly has worth. But one thing you can't buy or earn is God's love - it's given freely. It's your job to accept it.

When you leave this earth, how will you be remembered? Life your life with the intention of leaving a legacy - one where you'll be known by your good fruits.

We sometimes feel powerless as we watch evil take over our world. But have you tried prayer? You might find more power in prayer than you expect. At many times in our lives we're faced with a choice: Instant gratification or long-term satisfaction? We must have both inward and outward discipline not only for our physical and mental health, but also our spiritual health. Pastor Mark discusses this in today's 60 Second Sermon.

We often attach the word "hero" to people in certain professions - healthcare employees, frontline workers, first responders. But we don't always recognize the everyday, unsung heroes in lives - or our ultimate hero, Jesus Christ.

There's a lot of darkness in the world right now. You may feel like you're personally stumbling around in the dark, needing to find a light. God IS the light, and he's waiting for you to find the switch.

He's hiding in plain sight, waiting for us to seek His face. Give your heart to Jesus Christ today.

"I don't need to go to church to be a Christian." We've all heard this sentiment from a friend or family member at some point. But church is more than a dated tradition, and it shouldn't be thought of as an obligation. Get excited about joining or rejoining a congregation. Get involved. You've heard that there's strength in numbers, so let your presence strengthen Christ's kingdom. Today, Pastor Mark reads wise words from a favorite passage by an unknown author on the importance of church.

Are you turning back to God or are you turning your back to God? Sometimes we must sacrifice things we think we love - things that ultimately lead to our destruction - in order to honor God's will for our lives.

Sure, it seems like everyone is offended by everything these days. WWJD? He'd offer forgiveness. He invites, encourages, and even demands forgiveness.

God broke the mold for every one us. He knew what He was doing when he made us who we are. None of us are like the other - we've all got unique gifts that contribute to His kingdom. So never compare yourself - be proud of how God made you you!

Don't just say it. Really mean it. And do it intentionally. LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Rejoice and be glad, because your being reconciled into a right relationship with God is not based on your goodness - it's based on God's grace.
