Ha llegado el verano, quizá la mejor época para disfrutar de casi cualquier cosa, incluido el cine... o sobre todo, el cine. Y de hecho en múltiples ocasiones la inspiración para el Séptimo Arte procede del periodo estival. Hoy repasaremos algunas de esas películas: "American Graffiti" (George Lucas, 1973), "Tiburón" (Steven Spielberg, 1975), "Sé lo que hicisteis el último verano" (Jim Gillespie, 1997), "Verano del 85" (François Ozon, 2020) o "Luca" (Enrico Casarosa, 2021).Pero por encima de todo intentaré convenceros para que veáis "Verano del 42" (Robert Mulligan, 1971), una película tierna y divertida, melancólica y nostálgica, de aventura, descubrimiento y romance entre un adolescente y una joven viuda en una localidad de veraneo norteamericana mientras en el resto del mundo se vive la Segunda Guerra Mundial.Además del habitual repaso a las últimas noticias de cine y series de televisión escucharemos de fondo música procedente de las BSO de algunas de las películas las que hablamos hoy, especialmente de "Verano del 42", "Tiburón" y "Verano del 85", pero sobre todo habrá varios temas de la fantástica banda sonora de "American Graffiti", todo un festival de excelente música de finales de los 50 y comienzos de los 60.
