Este pasado mes de marzo habría cumplido 100 años Pier Paolo Pasolini. Escritor, poeta, dramaturgo, activista político y también director. Siempre envuelto en la controversia, ateo y homosexual militante, parecía el menos indicado para llevar a la pantalla la vida de Jesucristo pero el propio Vaticano consideró y considera "El evangelio según san Mateo" como la mejor película sobre la vida de Jesús.En pleno fin de semana de la Semana Santa quiero convenceros para que veáis la película de 1964 que en su título original prescinde del tratamiento de santidad ("Il vangelo secondo Matteo") y además repasaremos someramente tanto la vida como la obra fílmica de Pasolini, además de aproximarnos al neorrealismo italiano, innegable corriente de la que bebe Pasolini en su "biopic" sobre Jesús, además de citar algunas de las grandes películas clásicas de cine religioso y "semanasantero".Para ambientar el programa de hoy sonará de fondo música procedente de la BSO de "El evangelio según san Mateo", sobre todo piezas de "La Pasión según san Mateo" de Johan Sebastian Bach, además de otras piezas de Luis Bacalov y tanto la versión original que suena en el filme como otra quizá ma´s conocida, con la voz y la tgompeta de Louis Armstrong, del célebre "Sometimes I flle like a motherless child". Y, como siempre, tendremos la habitual sección de noticias de cine y series de televisión.
