En noviembre de1922, hace ahora justo un siglo, Howard Carter, gracias a la financiación de Lord Carnarvon, descubrió la tumba de Tutankamón, el faraón perdido. Se renovó la fiebre por el antiguo Egipto en todo el mundo y eso incluyó el cine.Esta semana el reto es cuádruple: intentar convenceros para que veáis no una sino CUATRO películas... pero es que se trata de las cuatro versiones de "La Momia" que ha conocido el cine, tres de ellas de los estudios Universal (estrenadas en 1932, 1999 y 2017) y otra de unos estudios no menos míticos en cuanto a cine de terror, Hammer Films (1959). Películas en las que unas veces vendados y otras con la cara al aire hemos disfrutado de grandes nombres como Boris Karloff, Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Brendan Fraser o Tom Cruise. Además repasaremos la historia apasionante del descubrimiento de la tumba y la no tan verídica "maldición de Tutankamón".Sonará de fondo la excelente banda sonora de Jerry Goldsmith para "La Momia", versión 1999.Y, como siempre, tendremos la habitual sección de noticias de cine y series de televisión antes de despedirnos con esa canción que forma parte de la banda sonora de nuestra vida.
