En septiembre de 1984, hace ahora cuarenta años, Milos Forman estrenaba su película "Amadeus" en la que narraba (bien es cierto que inventándose bastantes cosas) la vida de Mozart. Basada en la obra teatral de Peter Shaffer, el film se convirtió en un auténtico fenómeno de masas, llevando a millones de espectadores a las salas a descubrir en muchos casos una figura fascinante de la historia de la música y genial en la más estricta acepción del término.No es la única película de Milos Forman que le permitió alzarse con los Oscar a mejor película y mejor director, doblete que había conseguido en 1975 con "Alguien voló sobre el nido del cuco". Además de repasar la carrera de Forman hoy atenderemos a las películas centradas en las vidas de célebres compositores de música clásica (Beethoven, Chopin, Paganini, Stravinsky...) y sonarán otras voces, las de nuestros Cinesaurus de Cum Lingus Communicamus/Cinepodcast, Juanjo y Pedro, que nos hablarán del actor Tommy Lee Jones; y desde Amor de Cine tendremos a José Torres Remírez que nos hablará de ese cosmopolita protagonista de "La ciudad no es para mí".Inevitablemente nuestra banda sonora de hoy tiene como protagonista único y completo a Mozart.
