En 1922 F.W. Murnau estrenaba "Nosferatu", una "adaptación libre" de la novela "Drácula de Bram Stoker. La viuda de este demandó a la productora por plagio, ganó el juicio y todas las copias del film fueron destruidas.¿Todas? No, como en los cómics de Asterix, un reducto sobrevivió y medio siglo después, mientras Werner Herzog estrenaba su remake, el español Luciano Berriatúa afrontaba la titánica tarea de rescatar media docena de deterioradas copias existentes para restaurar de forma modélica esta obra del séptimo arte, un regalo que ahora nos permite contemplarla en todo su esplendor.No acaba ahí nuestro propósito de que durante este Halloween disfrutéis de Nosferatu. Además de conocer en "La sombra del vampiro" la recreación de la leyenda urbana según la cual Nosferatu estuvo interpretado por un vampiro auténtico, resulta que este final de año 2024 nos trae el regalo de dos nuevos remakes de "Nosferatu" a los que hincarles el colmillo.Nuestra banda sonora de hoy será la composición de Rob Wright para acompañar en directo la proyección del "Nosferatu" original de 1922.
