La gran triunfadora en la última edición de los premios Oscar ha sido "Anora", dirigida por Sean Baker, quien además ha hecho historia al convertirse en la primera persona que consigue cuatro estatuillas en una misma ceremonia: mejor película (es el productor), dirección, guión original y montaje. La titular del film también obtuvo estatuilla por su trabajo, lo que sirve de excusa para que esta semana nuestro programa esté dedicado a las ocasiones más destacables en las que la prostitución ha ocupado un papel protagonista en el cine.Desde "Las noches de Cabiria" hasta "El diputado", deteniéndonos especialmente en "Irma la dulce" y "American Gigolo", y en todo momento con la música de fondo procedente de la banda sonora de "Pretty Woman", película que, salvando las distancias, se convierte en el referente más inmediato al hablar de "Anora" por sus puntos de conexión, en ambos casos casi una versión sui géneris del cuento de la Cenicienta.También sonarán hoy otras voces, como la de nuestro querido Rafael Navarro Corchón, que continuando con su repaso cinematográfico por la década de los 80 nos adentra en esa película definitoria de una época y un tipo de cine: "Terminator".
