Las décadas de los años 50 y 60 fueron la edad dorada de las grandes superproducciones de cine bíblico y de ambientación en la Antigua Roma y aledaños, unos años que desde entonces han llenado la programación de muchos canales de televisión durante la Semana Santa.Quo Vadis, La túnica sagrada, Ben-Hur, Los Diez Mandamientos, Espartaco, Cleopatra, La caída del Imperio Romano, Rey de reyes, La historia más grande jamás contada... y tras unas décadas de olvido, Hollywood regresaba por la puerta grande con la que quizá sea la última gran superproducción ambientada en la Roma de hace unos dos mil años: Gladiator.Hoy dedicamos el programa a este gran cine tan propio de esta época del año, sin olvidad su reflejo televisivo en la serie Roma, y como contraste, tras haber paseado entre gladiadores y carreras de cuadrigas del pasado, Rafael Navarro, desde los años 80, nos traslada de época y hasta de realidad material, para digitalizarnos introducirnos dentro de un ordenador con TRON.
