In this weeks episode of "No Shame in the Home Game," we talk with Lacey’s husband Joe about managing their home with chronic illness and two small children. In our latest episode, we continued their story and shared some big wins, including a major organization project in the house’s playroom. They were able to reduced clutter, organized toys into bins, and even got the kids involved in cleaning up.One of Lacey’s personal victories was not beating herself up over the state of the playroom. As someone with a chronic illness, it's easy to feel like she should be doing more. But she was able to focus on what she could do in small steps and celebrate the progress made.We also discussed the importance of perspective when it comes to managing a home with other people. Joe and Lacey have different approaches, but work together and attempt respect each other's priorities.
