from The Art of Home: A Podcast for Homemakers · host Allison L Weeks

Send me a text about this episode!Join me for this experimental, first ever, Homemaker Portrait Double Episode!First, I’m chatting with Brittany Duncan, homemaker and fellow podcaster. Brittany has been keeping a home with her husband, Johnson, for 7 years. Even though she works outside the home, Brittany loves embracing the old ways of homemaking so much that she started a podcast to help other women her age do the same. My second guest today is Jenna Punke-Bendt, homemaker and another fellow homemaking content creator. Jenna has been keeping a home with her husband, Doug, for 17 years. Jenna has embraced full time homemaking for most of those years as she has raised 4 boys who were all born within a span of only 5 years! With both of these guests I will discuss their typical homemaking day, their homemaking strengths, weaknesses and influences. We discuss homemaking expectations and gratitude as well as classic Q&A with all the usual questions plus a new one about hospitality. Finally, we talk to the younger and the older women with some Titus 2 advice.EPISODE NOTES & LINKSConnect with Brittany Duncan:Podcast, Untraditionally Traditional:A Millennial Homemaker PodcastIG @untraditionallytraditionalpodwebsite untraditionallytraditional.comConnect with Jenna Punke-Bendtwebsite justhomemaking.comIG @justhomemakingFB @justhomemakingGalentines Party Printable Kit from Just HomemakingBooks & Resources MentionedLiving a Beautiful Life: 500 Ways to Add Elegance, Order, Beauty and Joy to Everyday Life by Alexander Stoddard (Brittany's Favorite)Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World: Finding Intimacy with God in the Busyness of Life by Joanna WeaverProfessionalizing Motherhood: Encouraging, Educating, and Equipping Mothers at Home by Jill SavageHistorical Homemaker HintsChild, The American Frugal Housewife, 1833, Carter, Hendee, and Co. [in the public domain, link to read for free online]HOMEMAKING RESOURCESFree Weekly Newsletter, Homemaker Happy MailPrivate Facebook Group, Homemaker ForumNewsletter ArchiveJR Miller's Homemaking Study GuideAudio Newsletter available to Titus 2 Woman monthly supportersSUPPORT & CONNECT Review | Love The Podcast Contact  | Voicemail |Instagram | Facebook  |  Website | Email  Follow | Follow The PodcastSupport | Support the showHOMEMAKING RESOURCESHomemaker's Journal, AoH Seasonal MagazinePrivate Facebook Group, Homemaker ForumJR Miller's Homemaking Study GuideSUPPORT & CONNECT Review | Love The Podcast Contact | Text/Voicemail-use the link at top of description | Website | Email  Follow | Follow The PodcastSupport | theartofhomepodcast.com/supportDISCLOSURE**Buy | as an Amazon affiliate, AoH receives a small commission at no extra cost to you when you use our links to purchase items we recommendAI Content | Portions of this episode’s copy and/or show notes may have been drafted with the assistance of AI and then reviewed and edited by a human, Allison Weeks.
