Kate is an award-winning journalist and storyteller from Buffalo, New York. In 2017, she founded Hope Rises, an organization that aims to ignite hope through stories of love and goodwill from around the world. Today Hope Rises has over 110K Facebook followers and a growing Instagram and Twitter audience. Kate knows a thing or two about hope–at 39 weeks pregnant, she was diagnosed with COVID-19 earlier this year (13:46). Spoiler alert: she and her newborn daughter are healthy and thriving!
