Hope Andersen

from The Kathryn Zox Show · host Kathryn Zox

Kathryn interviews Helena Dea Bala, author of "Craigslist Confessional: A Collection of Secrets from Anonymous Strangers." Her book is a series of raw, urgent and heartfelt stories that offer a look behind the curtain of our perfectly-curated lives, and challenge us to treat the strangers among us with empathy and respect. Bala has written for The Washington Post and Vogue. Kathryn also interviews Screenwriter & Coach Hope Andersen, author of "How to Remodel a Life: A Guide to Living Well with Alcoholism and Bipolar Disorder." Inspired by popular television shows such as "Fixer Upper," "Property Brothers," "Flip or Flop" and other programs featuring home remodels and makeovers, Andersen sought to answer the question, "How does one remodel a life?" Her poems have appeared in a chapbook, Taking in Air, and in a variety of e-journals including Ink and Nebula and The Literary Yard.
