Hoping Against All Hope - Rev IK. Utah (Dec 18, 2022)

The word hope has been copiously defined for us in previous messages and Bible Study, but as a brief reminder, hope is a positive expectation about the future, the expectation that our desire will be fulfilled. For the natural or carnal man, hope is based on forecasts or calculated risks based on environmental issues, financials, our emotional state, politics, or human promise. This kind of hope is uncertain, and can prove disappointing, frustrating, or even destructive. (1 Timothy 6:17; Psalm 33:17)
