A Faithful Father - Mr. Emmanuel Ocholi

When someone calls you "papa," you're a papa — whether you planned it or not. In this Father's Day message from 1 Thessalonians 2:10–12, a veteran mentor to over fifty adopted sons and daughters unpacks what makes a father faithful: loyal, dependable, intentional. Discover the three inheritances every father carries, why casting vision for your children matters more than putting food on the table, and the hard truths — fathers are mere humans who assume too much, the world doesn't revolve around us, and refusing to change costs more than we know. Fatherhood is a journey, not an event, and faithful fathers aren't born — they're transformed by surrendering to the Father of fathers.

LIVING BY OUR TRUE IDENTITY IN CHRIST - Pst. Sukanmi Olowo

A butterfly never crawls back into its cocoon — yet many believers keep reaching for the old life Christ already buried. In this study of Colossians 3:1–11, we learn what it means to live out our new identity: set your mind on things above, put your old nature to death — completely, not temporarily — and strip off anger, vengeance, malice, slander and lies like grave clothes left behind. What must fall and die isn't the enemy in the village; it's the old man within. Put on the new self, where Christ is all and in all — because transformation is the greatest power of the gospel.

Freedom in Christ: Don't Be Kidnapped, Judged, or Disqualified - Dcn. Dominic Ichaba

Bank tellers aren't trained on counterfeits — they're trained on genuine currency so well that every fake exposes itself. That's how believers defeat false teaching: know Christ deeply and continue in Him. In this study of Colossians 2:6–23, we unpack Paul's three warnings — don't let anyone take you captive through hollow philosophy, judge you over food, drink or sacred days, or disqualify you with false humility and claims of "deeper knowledge." With vivid real-life stories of fear-peddling prophets and prayer contractors, we're reminded that the old rules were only shadows; Christ is the reality, and He has already disarmed every power. Why chase shadows when you have the substance? Stay rooted, keep praying, stay in fellowship — and continue in Christ with thankfulness.

No Philosophy, No Legalism Christ Is Enough - Pst. Mrs. Bernice Aliyu

Imagine clearing immigration with a valid visa, while someone insists you need certificates the country never asked for. That's what false teaching does to believers — adding fear-driven requirements to a salvation that's already complete. In this message from Colossians 2, we expose the enemy's oldest trick of deception through persuasive words, philosophy, tradition and man-made rules, and rediscover who you are in Christ: forgiven, free from condemnation, with every accusation nailed to the cross and every principality disarmed. Stop chasing add-ons. Get rooted, stand your ground, and join the victory parade — because Christ is enough.

Reconciled, Not Drifting: Complete in Christ Alone - Rev. Peter Ameadaji

You were once far from God — His enemy, even — but He made the first move. In this message from Colossians 1:21–28, we unpack three life-anchoring truths: the reconciliation that presents you holy, without blemish and free from accusation; the drift that threatens believers through false teaching, fear-peddling and "Christ-plus" gospels; and the secret hidden for ages, now revealed — Christ in you, the hope of glory. There are no supplements to Christ. Know your standing, refuse the guilt trips, and don't drift away.

From Sympathy to Service: Turning Compassion into Action - Rev. Dr. Joseph Aliyu

Compassion that never moves is vision without action. In this message from Matthew 9:35–38 and the book of Haggai, we're challenged to "consider our ways" — to stop building only our own houses while God's harvest field waits. Discover why loving God means obeying Him, how to overcome fear and discouragement in evangelism, what sacrificial giving really looks like, and the power of the Holy Spirit that turns heartfelt sympathy into effective, life-changing service. The two greatest days of your life are the day you were born — and the day you find out why.

Anchored in John 12:26, the message tackles a vital question: What does divine honour actually look like, and how does God honour His people? You’ll hear clear, practical insight on why serving Jesus is central to experiencing God’s honour, and why divine honour is not something we can truly “earn”—it is rooted in grace, God’s love, and His desire to display His goodness in us.This teaching explores key expressions of divine honour, including:Eternal life and having your name written in the Lamb’s Book of LifeThe privilege of sonship and the empowered life through ChristEternal rewards and the mystery of future rulershipCovenant—promises initiated by God, not negotiated by manDivine protection and ‘untouchability’ (Psalm 91, Luke 10:19)Divine visitation and access—God coming to you, and you coming boldly to HimDivine confidence—God entrusting you with insight, direction, and intercessionCalling and election as an honour, even beyond church wallsThe episode closes with a sobering reminder: God notices honour—and He also responds to dishonour. Partakers of the Divine Nature (Day 3 - 1st Service) - Dr. Okey Onuzo

As this teaching series comes to a close, Dr. Okono answers a crucial question: Why are we being conformed to become partakers of the divine nature? The answer is purpose—God is raising men and women of power, not religious spectators.Using Daniel’s prophecy (Daniel 2:44–45), this episode reveals the Kingdom of God as a mission of power, a kingdom destined to outlast and ultimately overpower the kingdoms of this world. You’ll hear a clarifying call to awaken from ignorance, embrace your identity as a king and priest unto God (Revelation 1:5–6), and learn how spiritual authority works: power must be joined with godliness, obedience, and alignment with God’s will.Key themes include:The Kingdom of God’s purpose and prophetic missionWhy believers are called to spiritual governance, not mere religionHow the Holy Spirit works unhindered through yielded livesMaking faith-filled decrees and praying with persistence (Luke 18:1)The connection between God’s will, God’s presence, and Kingdom powerA call to true conversion, where commitment produces visible changeThis is a charge to rise: stop cosmetic Christianity, seek God’s will, carry His presence, and make decrees heaven can endorse, until the kingdoms of this world become the Kingdom of our God.

FROM GUILT TO GLORY - Rev Peter Ameadaji (MARCH 02, 2025)

Paul’sletter to the Romans is his greatest. It is one of the most powerful documentsever written. Of all the New Testament letters, Romans is the broadest in scopeand deepest in insight. The book of Romans has affected and transformed manylives over the ages.  Testimonieson the Impact of the Book of Romans:i.        SaintAugustine of Hippoii.      MartinLutheriii.     JohnBunyaniv.     JohnWesleyTheCentral Theme of the book of Romans, many say, is the “The Righteousness ofGod,” and some say it is “From Guilt to Glory”. Perhaps they aredifferent ways of saying the same thing. What is obvious is that this letterdeals with how God, through Jesus Christ, has enabled human beings to movefrom:·      Aplace of Condemnation and sin to a place of reconciliation andrighteousness. Inthe opening verses of the letter, Paul introduces himself to the believers inRome. Some of them must have known him personally, since he greets them in thefinal chapter, but many of them he had never met.   So, in these first seventeen verses Paulseeks to link himself to his Roman readers in three ways: ·      HePresented his CREDENTIALS – 1:1-7·      HeExpressed his CONCERN – 1:8-15·      HeAffirmed his CONFIDENCE – 1:16-17.

STRENGTHENING YOUR FAITH FOR CHALLENGING TIMES - Osarentin Ameadaji (FEBRUARY 12, 2025)

The Christian life on earth is filled with challenges and trials, so as Christians, we should expect challenges and trials; to think that we can walk through life without dealing with them is deceit. (John 16:33; James 1:2-4)The Bible warns us that our faith will be tried and tested, but standing in faith gives us resounding victories. (1 John 5:4)Challenges bring about trials and the testing of our faith. Hence, the need to strengthen our faith before challenges and trials come. We shouldn't wait for challenging times before we build our spiritual armouries against them. (Ephesians 6:10-18)For example, Israel as a nation had a lot of trials and political challenges, and this had taught them to continually reinforce their arsenal, strengthen their military base, and be battle-ready. It would be disastrous for them to wait until an enemy launches an attack before they take this protective measure. Likewise, a Christian should build a solid spiritual base or strength before challenging times. To help us understand our topic of study, we will do a definition of some important words in the study.• What is faith?• What is the meaning of challenges?• What does it mean to strengthen our faith in challenging times?• Discipline and Spiritual discipline

LIVING BY FAITH IN THE FACE OF MODERN CHALLENGES - Pst. Seun Adeogun (FEBRUARY 16, 2025)

Faith is a vital pillar of the Christian life; it anchors believers in their relationship with God. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." This verse is a foundational truth that sets the stage for trusting God, regardless of the uncertainties around us. In today's world, challenges abound - economic crises, societal pressures, rising moral decadence, and the distraction of technological advancements. These hurdles test the depth of our faith. Yet, God calls His people to live by faith, saying, "The just shall live by faith." (Habakkuk 2:4). Faith is not just an occasional response to life's challenges but a lifestyle that defines our walk with God

  33. 337

STRENGTHENING YOUR FAITH FOR CHALLENGING TIMES - Rev. Fred Ayodeji (FEBRUARY 09, 2025)

NATURE OF THE COMING CHALLENGING TIMES (Matthew 24:3-14)1. There shall be famine, pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places.2. Evil men will wax strong in their satanic activities.3. There will be apostasies, betrayals, hatred among religious people.4. The number and activities of false Prophets will be on the increase and of course they will deceive many people.5. Believers will be hated, persecuted, afflicted and killed for Jesus’ sake.6. Sinners will be increasing in their sinfulness, while many saints will become cold.7. Some believers who were once on fire for the Lord are fast becoming lukewarm as a result of dying fire.

YOU HOLD YOUR KEY TO THESE VICTORIES - Rev Joseph Aliyu (JANUARY 26, 2025)

Today the enemies of the church of Jesus Christ are not political or national or ethnic. Paul said, “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12) Until our King comes from heaven, we wish for the destruction of no man. As Christians we do not kill our enemies, we pray for our enemies, as Jesus taught us to do. (Matthew 5:44) The great battle today is fought not with swords, but with the gospel of Jesus Christ crucified and risen. It is fought for the souls of men. It is fought in the power of the Holy Spirit. It is fought with words of truth and deeds of love and justice. And all of that backed by prayer. The victory will come and will come by prayer. Your declarations matter: 1 Kings 17

WITH GOD FOR RESOUNDING VICTORIES - Dcn Enyi - 24 Jan 2024

What is resounding victory? Resounding victory is a decisive, over-whelming and unmistakable triumph over challenges, obstacles, or adversaries. Resounding victories are often marked by: i. Recognizable changes ii. Complete dominance or success iii. Celebrations because of its magnitude and impact. Is a believer’s victory a distant hope? Not at all. Romans 8:37; 1 Corinthians 15:57; John 16:33; and Philippians 4:13, tell us that the believer’s victory is a present reality. It is victory we are called to enjoy now. Christians are to walk in this reality through their close and daily relationship with God.

PREPARING FOR RESOUNDING VICTORIES - Pst Okien Peters - Sunday 19 Jan 2025..

In 2025, we have the promise of Resounding Victories given through the General Overseer of Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria from 1 Corinthians 15:57 and Joshua 1:5. To realise these victories we have to prepare and win alongside God, who is always victorious. He now wills and does His good pleasure and purpose in and through us (Philippians 2:13). In preparation of this, we have learned from Wednesday certain things and we will continue in that thought of preparing ourselves for resounding victories today.

Two key points stand out for me for me from our text today. First, the overall story of the Bible, i.e. what God has been doing and will be doing in the world, can be explained from the text. This short passage shows Almighty God present and working out His purpose to save people by His power while making His willing people beneficiaries and channels of His salvation plan for the world. In a way, this is the whole story of the Bible. Secondly, Almighty God with us is present to accomplish His own purpose in the world, not ours, by His own power. He even thinks it is OK to disrupt and upset our dreams and plans to accomplish His purpose through us if we are faithful and obedient to Him. So even though Matthew 1 begins and closes with names of the people of God, it is Almighty God with them that is in charge, working out His purpose through them by His power.
