Hour 1: Love’s Reps and Packers WR Disrespect

Ben and Kyle open Tuesday’s show live from Left’s at the Wisconsin State Fair with Matt LaFleur saying Jordan Love is currently expected to play in the Packers’ preseason opener, though LaFleur reserves the right to change his mind. Kyle wants Love to get at least a series or two, but Ben argues there is not enough to gain with Green Bay’s offensive line still unsettled. The guys then debate whether ESPN ranking the Packers’ wide receiver room 26th in the NFL is disrespectful or realistic. Kyle surprisingly says it is fair because Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden and the rest of the group still have more potential than proven production. They also dive into the cornerback room, with Keisean Nixon getting some second-team reps, Brandon Cissé pushing for a bigger role, and Matt LaFleur making it clear that nothing is being handed out.
