Adam Thiel and good to join us at hour number two. We have Taylor's Power Rankings to get to. We have a Mount Rushmore Monday to get to. But let's start with Dan Byer. Do I think probably, let him speak for himself, had the greatest sports weekend of his entire life a long, long time walkie-brewers fan.
He went to one of the two world series games. The Brewers are up two games to nothing. Game three is tonight in Tampa. And then he had Seattle, the Seahawks, showing why they gave away Kenneth Walker to the Chiefs. They don't need them.
They beat Kansas City last night and now everyone's asking what's wrong in Kansas City. Dan Byer was this indeed the greatest sports weekend of your lifetime? Gotta be top three, right? I mean, like it does. There's no doubt about that if I thought about back just of what happened on Friday nights in the energy of what was going on in Milwaukee, maybe top two for that reason.
It's crazy. I don't know. I don't know if Taylor's been to, you know, Yankee's World Series win. I'm not sure Jason's been to Dodger Stadium during a Dodger game, but to go to a World Series as a fan, something I've never experienced before in my life. And obviously with the Brewers not being there for 44 years, it's the reason why.
But I think it's different than any other sporting event that I've ever been to. And it's because when I go to a baseball game, I think that the 20 or 30, whatever ballpark you're going to, 1000 people that are there, all have different reasons for being there. But it's never usually to be there to watch their team win, stay for the full nine innings. Maybe it's there to hang out with friends, go catch a ball game, have a good time. And so I have like 40,000 fans there with one goal and only one goal in mind.
It's not to eat brought worst. It's not to eat secret stadium sauce. It's not to get the hoodie or the hat in the gift shop. It was to win that ball game. It was quite the experience.
Those cheese cards though. I mean, come on. Seriously. They're good. I always delicious.
Every single one I go back home is like, let's get some cheese curds. You were right about the World Series. Unlike a billion people who say they were at the game, I was actually at 86 game six Red Sox and Mets with my dad with my brother, my dad being a monster Red Sox fan. We didn't feel badly for him at all. We didn't make fun of him at all.
We didn't mock him at all. Even while he was pulling out champagne opening up the model to celebrate what he thought was going to be a Red Sox World Series championship. The first one since 1918. Taylor, have you been to a World Series game? Yeah.
So I've been to one World Series game. I went to game five of the 2024 World Series Yankees Dodgers. And I was in attendance when the Yankees blew a five nothing lead in the fifth inning. Aaron, judges drop, Garrett Cole forgot to cover first base. I have nightmares about it every night.
Now, now take away the outcome. Take away what happened. It's hard to take the outcome away. I mean, if you're there on the top of the first inning, it was so different. Like everybody's in their seats.
Like there's no one like out in the concourse waiting. Like everybody is there. Yes. And that's not like every baseball game. Somebody shows up in the bottom of the first, maybe top of the second, the Dodgers stadium top of the fifth, you know, whatever it may be.
But it's the first inning and everybody wants to see the first pitch. It was just so unique. And I've been to World Series before as a media member, but it's different because I don't have a dog in the fight. I don't know what it's like in that scenario. And that was so different.
And I don't know if it was because it was such a long drought for the Brewers and Game 1 was so highly anticipated. But I would have to think it's got to be somewhat familiar whether it be with the Yankees or whether it be with the Dodgers that just everyone is on the same page. And the other funny thing is the Rays don't travel like you're not seeing tons of Rays fans, right? You're not seeing any at all. I mean, correct.
So it's all Brewers fans. There's not like, you know, a contingency of Yankees fans or Red Sox fans or Mets fans or whatever. It's just all Brewers fans. And yeah, it was really, really unique. So Jeff passing was on with us last week.
He said it may not be the World Series that Major League Baseball wants that people outside of Milwaukee and Tampa wants. But what he loved about the match up is that the people of Milwaukee, they care. And this is the only thing they care about. And they're not going to be distracted and they're going to be in their seats paying attention, cheering loud and be ready to go 15, 20 minutes before first pitch. That was the case.
Yes. 100%. I mean, we got there two and a half hours just to make sure early just to make sure that everything was we were in the stadium and everything was good in the lines for, you know, programs like you would expect. I mean, you know, crazy, but when first pitch came or when the announcements came to do the starting lineups and Tom Rinaldi does his thing, everybody was in their seats and it was, yeah, it was really, really awesome. Tellers, a stat here.
I'm told about the baseball, about the World Series. What do you have here for us? Yeah. So this stat is going to make Dan probably feel even better about tonight. This comes from Jake Koda on Twitter.
The Brewers were the most dominant team in baseball on the 26th day of the month this season, going 7 and 0 and outscoring their opponent 53, 9. Stu, check the calendar. Game three tonight, October 26th. I like that stat. Why do I have to check the calendar if you're going to tell me the date anyway?
I mean, you feel better about the Brewers tonight now after hearing that stat. Yes, absolutely 100%. There may be that city, maybe half Brewer fans, but until that stat to know that it was the 26th that I had to look at my computer to make sure it was the 26th. We're good to go. You're up to how we suit you up.
I love it. I don't think a series is going back to Milwaukee. Really? I'll say it. Really?
It's over. I think it's going back to Milwaukee. You had Tampa in six. Yeah, that was yesterday. Today's tonight.
Every Met fan like take at the beginning of the year that Freddie Peralta pitches came three of the World Series. Yes. Yes. Every Met fan would have signed up. It's a three or four.
It doesn't matter. Let's pitch it tonight. Yes. For the wrong team. 87799 Fox 87799 Fox will get the tailors NFL rankings here in just a second.
I'm not certain I've been more confused by a team, any team at sports, than I am about the Vikings and their head coach. I don't know what to do with them. They're the most confounding, confusing team I have ever seen. I think in all my years watching sports, they're undefeated. They're six and oh, the offense is atrocious.
The defense is as good as it gets. Flores should be a head coach somewhere. If not in Minnesota. And then you have this quarterback, this, this coach who's assigned all these traces a quarterback whisperer and all these don't since he's been the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings is let the good quarterbacks leave and keeps changing quarterbacks. So I don't know what to do with Kevin O'Connell.
I don't know what to do with the Vikings. I don't know if the Vikings are for real. I just know that the Vikings are undefeated. They're six and oh, and I have no idea if their head coach actually knows what he's doing. And I have no idea if that Viking's team is any good.
Thank you for that. You know what I love about yesterday's Vikings win. It was like the sixth most important game in that early window. I know. The Vikings are unbeaten yet.
The Niners and Falcons were there. The Giants are going to overtime with the Texans heck even the Browns are pulling off another thriller. The Jets fail miserably sorry against the Dolphins, but the Vikings going six and oh was just yeah, it was just blah. That's exactly right. They're blah.
Six and oh, Taylor put it on the ball. Are they a boring six and oh, it does feel weird with this Minnesota Vikings team where it feels like they have to apologize every time they win a game. Well, they should because they made us watch it. I mean, six and oh, I know there's six and oh, I think the thing that's confounding to me, the thing that really, really confuses me is why we keep calling Kevin O'Connell this quarterback expert is quarterback Whisperer. He had Sam Darnold.
He decided to let Sam Darnold go. Sam Darnold the next season. What a Super Bowl for Seattle. He drafted JJ McCarthy, the guy that was supposed to replace Sam Darnold and he couldn't develop JJ McCarthy and let JJ McCarthy go for a fifth round pick to the New York Giants and JJ McCarthy looked like a starting quarterback in the NFL for the Giants yesterday. He played very, very well and now he's stuck with Kyler Murray and he hasn't made Kyler Murray that much better.
And I think the thing that's confusing and puzzling to me is why we continue to call Kevin O'Connell this great coach and the only reason we're doing it is because his team is a blah six and oh. This season it does feel like we are losing more faith in Kevin O'Connell being this like offensive mastermind and coaches in general. We're losing faith in coaches in general. I mean, but the faith that we're losing in Kevin O'Connell being this quarterback Whisperer, it feels like Kevin O'Connell is gaining more ground and being like, okay, he might just be a great leader of men, a great CEO type coach where the Vikings are the last undefeated team in the NFL and you look at some of the teams that they were in that company with like the 49ers and the Chiefs before this week, that has to count for something.
Um, yeah, well, of course. Yes, but it's not I'm not saying he's a bad coach. I'm not saying the team's bad. They're six and up to a floor is deserves more credit than O'Connell. I'm just talking about the specific trade of being able to make a quarterback better.
He's had two opportunities to do it and he's failed both times and he chose the wrong quarterback to let out of Minnesota. Donald should still be there after the season he had for the Vikings. That you so in the credit pie, how much did you have for O'Connell and then how much did you have for floors? Flores gets at least 95% of credit. He does.
I mean, Dan, am I wrong? At least 95. He's world glass. No, no. And the other funny thing was yesterday they played Daniel Jones.
Remember, they wanted to keep Daniel Jones and right. Yes. Yeah. There's some more mid quarterback play yet. He's six and oh, it's it's unbelievable.
I mean, the guy is winning while losing. Does that make sense? And only because his team is winning and only because that defensive coordinator is amazing at his job. You're going to be shocked though. Taylor, if the Vikings win the Super Bowl, right?
You're going to be shocked at the Vikings of the ones in the NFC. Aren't you? I would be shocked at the Vikings win all game in the playoffs. Really? All game.
Yeah, really. The Steelers to the Steelers and the Vikings. There's there's a lot of teams that I'm just keeping an eye on right now as teams that I can't wait to fade once the playoffs come around. The Vikings are there the if the Texans somehow make the playoffs like I can't wait to bet against the Texans if the Texans somehow find their way to the playoffs, which I don't think will happen. Pittsburgh's in that same camp where right now you're watching the Steelers.
They're just dinking and dunking their way down a field. Once they come up against a real opponent, I think that's when when teams like the Vikings and the Steelers will go down. You know, it's funny. The NFL, they had so funny the Chiefs who were, you know, everyone, oh, the Chiefs, my home, she's healthy. They're great.
No one's going to beat them. They lose to Seattle last night because you had the best sports weekend of your entire life but they lose to Seattle. I know number one team last week. I know. And now a weekend later a weekend removed.
We were saying this on Friday and here we are on Monday asking what's wrong with the Chiefs. Everything after last night, everything was wrong with them. By the way, the Vikings are the next four at Detroit home against Buffalo at Green Bay, home against the Niners. Right. I'm going to say I want to say they're going to lose those games, but they might not just because of the defense.
It won't be because of O'Connell. I could promise you that. Is that fair? 95 95. I'm not even certain the other 5% goes to O'Connell.
I'm just giving 95% of the credit. The floor is 5% of the defense. The guys will actually play defense. 5% of my miscellaneous for all I care. Yeah.
They haven't scored this. They've had what they scored nine against the Bears. 23 to beat the Bucks 15 to beat the Dolphins 16 to beat the Colts. And I needed an interception to seal it yesterday. Like it was still in the balance at the end.
Then ended the Daniel Jones turnover. Yes, the quarterback never seals it for Minnesota. His own quarterback gets the other quarterback and that defense will always seals it for the Viking. I'm Walter Isaacson, host of the new podcast, The Builders.
Right now, I'm living through an AI arms race. So I went directly to the people shaping that future. Gee one Musk, Dario Amade, Alex Scott, Fei-Fei Lee, Omar Laki, because I wanted to understand what the most consequential builders believe, what they feel, and where they feel. What they think, this is all headed. Silicon Valley is always saying the cliche thing about the way to predict that future is to create it.
Well, yeah, it's up to us. But when you say us, who's us? Is it 400 people that you know in Silicon Valley? Is it me down here in New Orleans? They're brilliant, controversial, and they're already shaping the future.
The question is, who's imagination do we want to live in? This is going to determine the fate of nations and economies and the future of humanity. Okay, here we go. But over the past decade, the crown's been slipping. They said, goodbye to swimsuits now. Hello to lawsuits. I'm Brigitte Armstrong.
Last season, we took you inside the world of America's Next Top Model. Now I'm back with season two of this podcast, Curse of Miss America. Investigating the rise, fall, and uncertain future of one of America's most iconic institutions. The Miss America pageant. I never received scholarship money to pay for my student loans.
Can you make some of those? You don't look like these stuff are in the eating disorder. It's great, but it looks too ethnic. It's a story the Miss America organization really doesn't want to sell. An exploitation of all of Miss America's is treated by the Miss America organization as an attack on Miss America itself.
Listen to the Curse of Miss America on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, I'm Jack Armstrong. He's Joe Getty. I'm going to figure out how to describe what is Armstrong and Getty on demand for many years. I'm going to give it a shot.
So most media is either a gender driven. No, they intentionally lead parts out or they lie to you. They're so shallow. And boring. Don't learn anything anyway.
We try to get to the bottom of the stories that are shaping our world and help you understand what's actually happening. The Armstrong Getty show practically perfect in every way. Yeah, I really like it. So I've been listening for over 10 years. I'll always be an avid listener in Veteran 4 and 4.
The show is a collection of silly, serious, and irreverent musings of the day. Deliriously balanced with more than just a pinch of sarcasm. Whether it's on the left or the right. If somebody does something or says something stupid, they're going to call it out. I'm rocking with A&G.
So give it a try sometime entertaining you learn something. Where do I do it? Listen, Armstrong, you get a on demand on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Taylor, put it on the pole, please. That's the got 790 on X is Robert Gasser, the greatest pitching name of all time.
You would want your pitcher to be named Gasser, would you not? Yes. Yes. Johnny fastball. 8, 7, 99 on Fox.
We have a ton of calls. We'll get to him in just a second here. Let's go to Mount Rushmore Monday. It's a great Mount Rushmore. The Mount Rushmore worst NFL coaches of all time.
Give me the imaging, please. Thank you there. Yeah, you, the guy with a spreadsheet pretending to work. You find yourself needing a picky up as your drag and a cubicle will start your week. Are you ready to put the sports back in Sports Talk?
Well then, you're in luck because every Monday, week like a month, we talk to legends and we argue about things you want and I want the truth. You can't handle the truth that absolutely do not matter and are completely subjected. This is Mount Rushmore Monday. Alright, it is a Mount Rushmore Monday here on Suwokan's Company Live. Taylor, do we have the order here for the Mount Rushmore?
Yeah, so the order is going to be Stoodot's, Taylor, and then Ricardo and a reminder on the topic in honor of Aaron Gland. It is the worst NFL coaches ever. You might be it. I'm not going to choose it first though. The entire book hasn't been written.
Although I can tell you the way it ends. It feels like the book is like 99% or anything. Spoiler alert, he's getting fired. And he deserves it. Nice guy though.
Yeah. So I have the first pick here. So Ricardo's doing it, huh? Yeah, Ricardo's the third pick. Joe Girardi.
No NFL. Um, so many bad coaches. So some of the good ones, I'm not even certain they're any good with so many bad coaches. Alright, I will start here with a, since it's an honor of Aaron Gland, I'll start with a jet head coach, possibly. And this is saying a lot.
The worst jets coach in the history of jets head coaches, I will start with rich co-type. That's what I was number one on your power wrecking. Yeah. Was it really? I was one on my board.
I think universally rich co-type is number one on everyone's power wrecking. It's the only thing that's what we agree on. So when you are the worst coach in jets history, that really says something about you. Yes, yes, no question about it, right? And that position has been held by Adam Gates.
He's currently being held by Aaron Glenn. Alright, Taylor, you're up here. So my first one is rich co-type. So I can't let this pick go to Ricardo because in South Florida, there's one name you think of when you think of worse NFL head coaches ever. Yeah.
I'm going with cam camera. Beautiful choice. I was debating between cam camera and rich co-type. Those were always going to be the first two names off the board. Yes.
And for people who are unfamiliar with cam cameras work, he was the offensive coordinator, I think, for the Green Bay Packers when McCarthy was there. I believe he was assigned all the trades and responsibilities that we give to Kevin O'Connell and quarterback Whisper are going to make your offense good. Camcat, sometimes coaches are just better off being a coordinator. But for people unfamiliar with cam camera, here is some sound of why cam camera was such a bad head coach for the dolphin. I want guys going out in this game, not getting afraid to fail.
But if you fail, fail forward. What does that mean? Well, if you're failing forward, that means you're failing, but you're learning and you've got to learn fast. Fail forward. Here's cam camera, trying to convince dolphin fans that said, again, was a good traffic.
Hey, we need that thumb to go this direction. They had their thumbs down. He wanted thumbs up. Welcome in the Gin family. As if they were playing football, we got that kid and we got a great family.
Unfortunately, their son stunk at football and he was a lousy head coach. Good choice. Ricardo, who do you have here? I'm going to go with Bobby Petrino for the Atlanta Falcons. Yes, it's great.
Well, quit mid season. Just left a note to the team that he was going to leave. He got a better job. I got an organ sauce. Yeah, that's why he left.
Three and three. For Bobby Petrino? Yeah. You have a swing pick here. And then for my second pick, I'm going to go with bourbon mire.
Wow, that's a good one. Urban mire is a good one. You almost forget about his year of Jacksonville. It was so bad. It was just a year, huh?
Yeah. Wow. Did he kick the kicker? He did kick a kicker. What was the record in Jacksonville that year?
Two and eleven. All right, Taylor, you're up here. So urban mire. That is a good one. I have to cross them off my shoulders.
So this name just takes me back to a different time in the NFL. I'm going to draft Marty Mornigweg here. Right. Five and 27 as an NFL head coach. And the moment for Marty Mornigweg is when he kicked the ball to the Bears after winning the coin toss and sudden death over time.
The Bears just went right down the field and kicked the field. One the toss. Yes. One of the wins. Yes, I'm off here.
Come on. We'll get to you in just a second. All right. So I have two here, Taylor. Yeah, I'm going to go with Nick Saban.
Hey, 16 and 18, two years with a dolphin just based on the expectations we had for Nick Saban coming into the NFL and what he actually did. Major disappointed. So Saban is on my Mount Rushmore of worst NFL coaches of all time. A rare guy who's on a Mount Rushmore of worst NFL coaches and on the Mount Rushmore of greatest college coaches. What was that?
That was a drop that Sam played. Go ahead, Sam. Hey, I love it here. There it was. Nick Saban.
They'll check might also be on that path of Mount Rushmore. He could be well. You're Mount Rushmore. I think it's still alive. Couldn't take it still alive.
I'm happy as hell. Yes. It couldn't be Rod Morten Elley, right? You never won a game. I think he was on 16.
I'm trying to fit. I know Rod Maranelli was. Yeah. Rod, did I call him Rod? You got the Rod right?
Martin Elley. It was Martin Elley. I was thinking of Nick Martin Elley. I'm going to go Adam Gates just based on the press conference. Yes.
I have two Jack coaches. I'm going to go Adam Gates just based on the press conference. I have two Jack coaches. I'm going to go out and watch more of worst coaches in NFL history. All right.
So I have Saban and I have Adam Gates. Can we get done with just with Jets coaches, by the way? Can I get his own good? Yes. They've all been bad except for one.
Okay. Two. My round three pick here. I can't let this guy go any further down in this board. Hugh Jackson had a 1 in 15 season and 0 in 16 season.
One of the worst coaches in NFL history. Yes. So Board of Guard, I was up now. First last two picks. Yes.
All right. So I'm going to go with another Jets head coach and that's Lou Holtz. He was the coach in the 1970s, 1976. He went three and 10 and resigned with one game remaining in the regular season. Yeah.
I'm not going to say his facts. I'm not going to say we lost that. I'm not saying. And for my next one, I'm going to go with Lane Kiffin. It's pretty good.
I think you guys have botched these these traps. Dan has the golden ticket been taken yet. It is not. Wow. But a silver ticket for the 78 yard Sebastian Genikowski field goal.
So I'm looking at my big board right now for this last pick. The thing I get. My big board for this last pick. I have to have the Golden Goose on it because Hackett is on this. I don't want to take the thing.
He was really bad. Can't hack it. He was really bad. I am going to go. So this pick is a little bias for me.
Joe Judge because Joe Judge was bad in New York, but the last thing memory I have of Joe Judge is trying to do a quarterback's sneak on 39. That display of coaching. Touch push. Yeah. You can't get in your.
That elevates you to one of my worst coaches ever. Right. Man, I'm trying to think of the Golden Goose or the Golden ticket. It's all the above. I'm trying to apply your Seahawks fandom.
I'm thinking it might be Jim Zorn who was just dreadful, but I don't think he would do that to Jim Zorn. Could be wrong rust. Yeah. Dave Shula. Did someone say you Jackson?
Yeah, I still got him in the third round. It's a steal. I'm going to say Matt Patricia who was 13, 29 and one with the Detroit Lions. Matt Patricia because none of those coaches from the Belichick coaching tree were good anywhere else but with the right. All right.
So we've done we complete here. Yeah. Yes. Do you want to do you want to take some calls here before you give out the winner week? All right.
Let's go out to Kevin who is in Minnesota today. Kevin, go ahead. You were on Fox Sports radio. Do you have back for more bashing on KLC perfect topic? You know, this is coming from somebody who wanted Tom Lynn.
We went with Brad Childress. You know, I'm a Jim Harbaugh fan. We came to a second interview with the Vikings breath, but we had this triangle of authority and I swear to you that Jim didn't want us to come to that or have to indoctrinate. He didn't have to get the power that he wanted. So we go with Kevin O'Connell because I bet he agrees to the triangle of authority.
So we got now a GM from Schneider tree from Seattle and hopefully he cleans this mess up. But you know, it's a bummer. It's a shame because Kevin O'Connell, he's we listened to what press conference is up here in the North and he's readily admitted this season that, you know, he fell into this trap of needing big plays and fancy offense. When really it's all about winning the game. Well, you know, it's I don't believe him because his whole 10 year up here, you know, we're fourth and we're we're at the one yard line and he does all these fancy trickery plays that never works.
He's still doing it in the Colts game. I mean, it's run the ball. Run the ball up the top of the shot. No, no, I understand that. Calm down.
I need you to calm down because you're six and up. I mean, you're talking about this mess that everyone has to clean up. You haven't lost a game yet. I would kill for that kind of mess. I mean, I thought he was just going to say less stek.
Last week. I mean, Jesus, it's not that bad, dude. You're fine. Do you think Kevin O'Connell goes home? Do you think he's happy with his six and O? Kevin O'Connell?
Like, do you think he looks in the mirror when he goes home and says, hey, the offense just ain't doing what it's supposed to do? He knows it's a bit fraudulent. I think he knows it. Yeah, when he lays his head down, he's like, yeah, we're kind of frauds. Does Kevin O'Connell put it on the pole?
Did you look in the mirror and say to himself, none of this six and O has anything to do with me. Can I also point out this may be the first time ever in sports talk history that one fan would trade his head coaches undefeated for a coach who hasn't won a game this year because that is what happened. And we should have had Jim Harbaugh. Yes. Who was winless?
The less winless coach in the NFL. Don't it's ever happened. Has to be a first. He'd still do it today. He would trade.
You know, God over our bottom straight up today. All right, let's go out to 8 7 7 99 on Fox Matt, who's in Indiana today, not going out your Fox Sports radio. Hey, thank you for taking the call. I'm not sure if it was a parrot that's what or not. Are we including interim coaches?
I mean, they were, but if you have one, Matt, we'll take it. Yeah, we'll put it on there. Well, all right. After a half Saturday for the Liverpool interim with one in seven. I don't know if it was worth on him for seven in it or works on the DM and the owners were hey, why don't you come in and take over this team.
Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Do you have three more or just Jeff Saturday? Okay, Jeff Saturday, I believe he won the first game that he has.
He did. And ironically enough, the game we all remember was when they believe the lead of the Vikings. That's right. Right? And just played this past weekend.
That was listen, it was a desperate hire. Right? kind of higher like a favor to Jim or say right. He loves Jim or say he loves the Colts. He's a good team. God Jeff Saturday. We love Jeff Saturday's been on the show.
He did it because he was asked to do it. Right? Is that fair? He must have thought and if I had coaching was so easy when they beat the Raiders to start. This is what everybody says is so hard to do. He thought he's gonna parlay into a 10
year deal. He thought he was going in the hall of fame as a player and then back in as a coach. Yes. I think he wanted to be out to live in the house and not rearrange all the furniture and they'll just get to it later. It's just just don't it doesn't matter if it's a disaster. Just yeah, keep it the cold way. That's what I think
wanted to do. Let's quickly here before we get to the results of this week's Mount Rushmore. Let's go out to Alaska. Wow. Let's go to Mike who's in Alaska today.
Mike go ahead. You're on Fox 40. Thank you. Take my call. Sure. My flame is already
taken by one year of commentators. There are less tech over the Vikings. Okay. Terrible guy. I can't say anything. I can't say anything about him. That'll be good.
Okay. But terrible coach. You didn't know personally it's rough to call him a terrible guy. Right? Give me the nicest guy in the world. Right? You could be
but he was a rotten coach. All right. Thank you for the call. Dan, let's get to the results here. You have me. You have Taylor. Yeah. Bored up Ricardo. Yeah. Who
was the winner of this week's Mount Rushmore? Well, I can tell you that the golden ticket, the Golden Goose was not picked, but he was named. Rod Maranelli was an old ticket. He was named but he did not go select it. The reason being is they actually were seven to nine the year before, which is an improvement from the first year. But when you are the first to go 0 and 16, that is your class of your
own. There were some really good picks. How do I know that? Well, Todd Monkin currently has the same amount of wins as Marty Morningweg in his career. That is they're both at five. Guess also has five wins in his career. Lane Kiffin. I'm telling you,
we got some really good picks here. Ultimately, it came down to the details and the details were Cam Cameron on the mic. It was Marty Morningweg and his decision to not take the ball in overtime. Taylor, you're the winner. Ricardo, a close second still you're bringing on the bronze. I said it though. Had I said it, would I be the
winner? You would been top two for sure. Oh, God. Taylor's got a really strong like when you want to talk about like just chaos and mismanagement. Yes. Yeah.
There's some high points. And we got to see you Jackson on Hardox just to see like how much of a mess that was. Right. But I arm tailor with that sound. He was unaware of the sound I told him about the sound he gave me nothing. I should get in
the sit there. I mean, yeah. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch all of our shows at Fox Sports Radio dot com and within the iHeartRadio app search FSR to listen live. Breaking story from Alpine News Network.

Elon Musk, Dario, Amadeh, Alex Carr, Fei-Fei Lee, Palmer, lucky, because I wanted to understand what the most consequential builders believe, what they feel and where they think this is all headed. Silicon Valley is always saying the cliche thing about the way to predict the future is to create it. Well, yeah, it's up to us.
But when you say us, who's us? Is it 400 people that you know in Silicon Valley? Is it me down here in New Orleans? They're brilliant, controversial, and they're already shaping the future. The question is, who's imagination do we want to live in?

We'll get the tellers power rankings in just a second. We have one us lonely said phone call here from Jeremy in North Dakota. Let's go to him.
He wants to talk about the worst that goat in NFL history. Jeremy, go ahead. You're on Fox Sports Radio. Are you talking to me? Yes. Are you Jeremy?
I'm my name's Jared. I'm in North Carolina, but close enough. Alright, Jared in North Carolina. Go ahead. You're on Fox Sports Radio. Sorry about that.
I just wanted to I by the way, you guys nailed the entire Mount Rushmore that I had. That was great. Good job. I was going to my thunder covering up the urban Meyer kick in the kicker, which is just actually an insane story. If you think about it, why would you kick your kicker if you wanted to make kicks? But anyway,
yes, sending a message. Exactly. Yes, sending a message, I guess. So, Sue, yeah, I've been listening to you for a while, Sue. You know how much I love you, but you know, you guys in my lion's band, I don't know what it is, but I feel like I got a call in every week to defend my guy, Dan Campbell, you know, I mean, I feel like if Dan Campbell loses that game to the Cardinals, or that game against the Cardinals last week is close. You know, everybody's talking about
firing him, you know, and all that. And I don't know, everybody got questions of sport down decisions. And you know, I don't really understand it. You know, the offense is excellent. You know, I think they go for it twice on fourth pound and they don't get it due to weird things that happen in that game.
And they won though. That's the crazy part that I just I don't understand. I just always feel like I got to defend my guy, Dan Campbell from, you know, everybody always being like, Oh, for town this, always defend Johnson Merchant. And I just think that's just a little silly. Right. I don't know. I don't
feel like there's that much. Thank you for the call. Appreciate it. I don't feel tailored to you. Like there's that much criticism of Dan Campbell. I
would love to have Dan Campbell be my head coach. I think Dan Campbell has exceeded whatever expectations people had for him when he took over as the Lions head coach. He doesn't look the part of a head coach. He's big. He's muscular. That's not the way coaches normally look. He looks like he can still
play. But I love Dan Campbell. I would love for him to be my head coach. Yeah, I think people just bashed him yesterday for him going forward on that fourth down and you're kind of playing the result there where they don't get the first down and keep the drive going. And if you turn the ball over there in that situation, I understand Dan Campbell's logic to be like, Okay, if we punt the ball to the Packers and the Packers go on this long drive, there's a chance Jared Goff never touches the ball again. If we turn the ball over
there and we don't pick up the first down conversion, we're guaranteed to get a possession in this game because of how much time is remaining and how short a field you're giving the Packers. Ultimately, it wound up working in his in his favor because the Packers kicker was struggling all day making chip shot field goals. It's interesting. The Lions and Dan Campbell, he is a good coach. Like he's a guy that I would want to be my NFL coach. But that's another
division where I have no idea. Like the NFL is as wide open this year as it's ever been. You're not sold on Kansas City. You're not sold on Seattle. You're not sold on the Vikings, even though they're undefeated. And you're certainly not
sold on the Niners after last week. It might all come back to the Rams and the Rams might just get healthy at the right time. Tell her if I could circle back to the Urban Meyer thing for a second. Yes. One of the craziest parts of that story. He just mentioned how underrated it was the kicking the kicker. Remember
when he hired this strength and conditioning coach from Iowa and everybody was like, isn't this guy kind of racist and a little bit problematic and urban admirers like, Oh, he's a great guy. And then he got fired almost immediately when pass allegations of mistreatment and racist language by former players. Yes. Comes out also that that coach Chris Doyle. That's Declan Doyle. The Ravens
offensive coordinator. That's his debt. Oh, really? Yeah. A couple of oils. Urban Meyer did do a single thing right at the NFL level. Did a lot
right at the college level. We think did do a lot right. Anything right in the NFL. It is funny. We were having this raging debate argument last week about Caleb Williams of Ben Johnson and who deserves the credit? Is it Caleb?
Is it Ben? Is it Ben? Is it Caleb? And I always side on the side of the quarterback of the player because Caleb Williams was great before Ben Johnson got there. And Caleb Williams would have been great eventually with someone as his head coach. It's kind of like Michael Jordan. Eventually, everyone was
going to eventually somebody was going to win the six titles with Jordan. That's somebody was Phil Jackson. But since Dan Campbell just came up, Taylor Ben Johnson is gone. He's long gone. He's in Chicago. Have you seen Jared
Gough's numbers this year since you love to give all these great characteristics and assign all these attributes to Ben Johnson and say that he's the reason for Caleb success. Jared Gough without Ben Johnson is having the greatest season of Jared Gough's career. And he might be the MVP of the NFL. It helps having Jameson Williams and Marassee Brown and junior gifts. What I think it comes down to the great quarterback is ingredients to a great dish. Yeah, coach is just a master chef. Okay, Taylor's power ranking is coming up
next. How do you know that Claude won't become manipulative? This is a constant worry. And you can actually catch the model thinking I think X is actually true. But I'm the total user why I'm Walter Isaac's on my new podcast, The Builders. I'm going inside the minds of the people shaking our future. Listen to
