Ben and Kyle open Monday’s show with Keisean Nixon saying he feels like he is being “punished” as the Packers continue rotating him through different roles at cornerback and special teams. Kyle says Nixon is not being punished, he is being held accountable for poor tackling effort and inconsistent play, while Ben worries Green Bay still needs him because the cornerback room does not have many proven options. Gary Ellerson’s defense of Nixon sparks a bigger debate over whether Packers fans should rally behind him or demand more from a veteran who wants to be paid. The guys then turn to Matt LaFleur, with Kyle wondering whether the coach is acting differently after his extension by taking public shots at Aaron Banks, challenging Nixon and kicking Baron Sorrell out of practice.
