Ruhn Danaan’s pleasurable evening is rudely interrupted by the arrival of his grumpy cousin, Cormac, Crown Prince of the Avallen Fae and newly betrothed to Bryce. Bryce does her best to get her parents out of town before they hear the news, but not before her efforts are interrupted by a badly beaten Ithan Holstrom.
