House of Sky and Breath: Chapters 30 - 36 (Part 2)

This season, Jac and Amy conduct a literary analysis of Sarah J. Maas' book Crescent City: House of Sky and Breath! This is Part 2 of Episode 7, where they review Chapters 30 through 36. Their rendezvous with an Ophion rebel has Ruhn, Ithan, and Cormac face-to-face with Mordoc. In a desperate attempt to evade detection, they move their gathering to a whiskey bar in Lunathion, where the Hind and Harpy confront Ruhn and Ithan for a card game. Meanwhile, Bryce and Hunt fight for their lives in the Bone Quarter, and it is only when Bryce’s life is in jeopardy that Hunt truly unleashes his powers. Tharion leaves his meeting with the River Queen to come to their aid, and the team reassembles at Bryce’s apartment to share all that they have learned. But when Hunt is called away to attend Celestina’s and Ephriam’s engagement party, Sabine confronts Ithan and Bryce, the confrontation of which ends with Ithan’s ability to defeat Sabine in question and his decision to move in with Ruhn and his friends.
