Steve interviews Josh from Bifrost Cloud. Bifrost Cloud is a distributed cloud object storage platform that is S3 compatible. Instead of having all of the data stored in one data center, it works by having customers send a gateway object which is broken up into 80 chunks, encrypted and distributed among 20,000 storage providers worldwide. As long as 30 of the 80 chunks are up and running, the data is fully recoverable and self-healing. S3 storage is becoming more popular thanks to platforms like MSP 360 and Backup Commander.
