Tune in for an eye-opening conversation on making more conscious, sustainable fashion choices! Susanne, the founder of Foxlilie and sustainable fashion for women and kids, designed with an earth-friendly purpose—to keep clothing in our closets and out of landfills. She was ahead of the environmental curve—or so she thought. She was an avid recycler, carefully sorting glass bottles while out shopping at the mall. This was back when recycling wasn’t common, and most public places, including malls, didn’t even have recycling bins. But she was determined to do her part. Yet for all her efforts, she never stopped to think about what was inside her shopping bags. She had no idea that the very clothes she was buying were contributing to one of the biggest environmental crises of our time. Fast fashion was—and still is—filling our landfills at an unfathomable rate. In the U.S. alone, 11.3 million tons of textile waste end up in landfills each year—that’s about 81.5 pounds per person.Foxlilie was born out of a simple need: stylishly sustainable clothing for everyday life. What started as a one-of-a-kind brand for kids has since grown to include timeless, fashion-forward styles for women. When I discovered that 85% of textiles end up in landfills, I knew I had to challenge the wasteful cycle of fast fashion. Instead of fleeting trends and overproduction, Foxlilie is built on a model of mindful, small-batch production using organic and renewable materials. Our mission is to redefine how we create and experience fashion—crafting pieces designed to last, to be loved, and to minimize harm to our planet. We believe in fashion that is elevated to not only be beautiful for you but also be a force for good on Earth!Connect with Susanne Website: Foxlilie.studioInstagram: @foxliliestudio PURCHASE BOOK NOW!
