How can the evolution of the universe’s origin be understood through meditative worship? | தியான வழிபாட்டின் மூலம் எவ்வாறு பிரபஞ்ச தோற்றதின் பரிணாமங்களை புரிந்துகொள்வது?
from Santhosam Podcast: Guiding Light of Spiritual Wisdom · host Santhosam
Temple worship elevates a person from an animalistic state to a human state. Yoga worship, on the other hand, raises a human being toward a divine state. It was the enlightened sages (Gnanis) who established this path of yoga. For ordinary people whose minds are scattered, form-based worship (idol worship) was created to help them focus and engage in devotion. Following that came light worship and then meditative worship (Dhyana worship). The one who abides In that meditative worship is you. Your path is the path of wisdom, the path of truth, the path of reality. That divine path is to realize God as He truly is, just as He is within. At the centre of the eyebrows, one contemplates the all-powerful divine energy. What has evolved into all things—that power of transformation is what the universal salutation (Prabanja vazhthu) honours. That which you are praising—you yourself have become worthy of that very praise. Before the sun and moon came into existence, this universe was in darkness. At the centre of the universe, there is a darkness that pervades everything, inseparably. Contemplating that darkness is essential—because it is in that very darkness that the Primordial One (Aadhi) resides. We are all living now in the light of the lights we have created. If we turn off all those lights, what remains is only darkness—where we cannot see anyone, nor can anyone see us. In the same way, the Aadhi, existing in that darkness, chose to see itself and to reveal itself—through its own thought. The presence of that Aadhi is within the darkness, and from that presence, everything comes into being. We, too, existed in darkness—in our mother’s womb. Only later did we come into the light. That transformation required ten months. In the same way, that Aadhi, which was in darkness, revealed itself by its own will. Sensing the primal energy as awareness at the midpoint between the two eyebrows — that foundational awareness is the supreme awareness, the universal awareness. In the beginning, God existed as pure awareness — a presence that pervaded everything. That divine awareness willed itself into creation. That supreme divine awareness is filled with unconditional love, boundless wisdom, and infinite power. It is limitless love, measureless compassion, and matchless grace. It is endowed with infinite intelligence. That is why this divine awareness radiates as Supreme Love, Supreme Wisdom, Supreme Power, Supreme Bliss, Supreme Beauty, and Supreme Peace — shining with divinity. That Divine Being willed Itself into movement through its own thought. That very movement manifested as the sound of ‘Om’ — the Omkāra Nāda. Just as lightning appears after the thunder, the Divine Light (Jyoti) emerged following the Sacred Sound. Before that Divine Light revealed itself, the entire cosmos resounded solely with the Omkāra Nāda. From within that primordial sound, the Omkāra Jyoti emerged — and that is the Supreme Light, the Paranjothi.Send us Fan MailLet Wisdom Flourish!Let Peace Prevail!
