The shocks were so powerful that tremors rocked neighboring China and Thailand, where many are also missing after buildings collapsed. Myanmar declared a state of emergency across much of the country. At least 144 people are known to have died and more than 700 are injured but it’s feared that many more have lost their lives. The epicenter of the 7.7 magnitude quake was near the country's second city of Mandalay. The generals who run the isolated and secretive military regime have made a rare appeal for international help.  Hundreds of miles away in Thailand’s capital Bangkok about 100 workers are missing after a 30-storey skyscraper which was under construction collapsed in seconds.   Rescue teams have been working through the night in the search for survivor Mar 30, 2025An executive for U.S. Bank is believed to be the only person on board the plane that crashed into a Brooklyn Park home on Saturday. A representative with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said that preliminary information shows one person was on the plane.U.S. Bank shared a statement saying they believe Vice Chair and Chief Administration Officer Terry Dolan died in the crash.The full statement says, "We are aware of reports that the plane that crashed in Brooklyn Park was registered to Terry Dolan, our vice chair and chief administration officer. At this time, we are unable to confirm whether he was on board, but we believe he was. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, his family and friends, and anyone who may have been affected by yesterday’s tragic incident.
