Adhi (ஆதி), the primordial space, gives rise to the experience of Self or "I". It is I who is turning to the left and right, and moving. That which was in stillness starts to move. When there is motion or vibration, sound manifests. As the sound vibration increases, light manifests: Supreme sound (Para Nadham) manifests from the Ultimate Supreme Self (Para Brahmam). The Supreme Light-Paranjothi manifests itself from the Supreme Sound. As a result, Gurumahan teaches everyone to focus on the center of their forehead. He describes a Thirumandiram song which says that individuals who do not focus on the forehead center cannot realize the true Self (Gnanam).There are three Nadis: left nadi (ida kalai), right nadi (pinkalai), and center nadi (sushumna nadi). One must concentrate on the center or the Suzhimunai nadi and feel the vibration in the Forehead Center or Suzhimunai. When one focuses on this Suzhimunai nadi he shall attain balance(Nadu Nilai).
