How Do You Improve or Restore Your Eyesight Naturally with Expert Nathan Oxenfeld
from Reawaken Your Health Podcast · host Dr. Amy Novotny
Our vision often changes in our teen years or early 20's and we are typically given classes or corrective contact lenses. We don't always explore natural means of restoring our vision because they not considered a common treatment option. What if there are ways to truly improve our vision without glasses or contacts? For this week's episode of the Weekend Wellness Hour Show, we discussed how to improve our vision naturally through the Bates Method and through Eye Yoga with expert Nathan Oxenfeld. Nathan shared his journey of eyesight improvement from needing assistance to having 20/15 and 20/10 eyesight. We dove into relaxation of the eye muscles and other muscles of the body to allow our eyes to function better and have better focus. Nathan explained how this is the main guiding principle to the Bates Method. Nathan gave more tips on natural remedies including diet, nutrition, emotional considerations and what to consider when you are in front of a computer all day. He even discussed who could benefit from all these tips! Nathan is the author of Give Up Your Glasses For Good: Holistic Eye Care for the 21st Century, the host of The Naked Eye Podcast and The Better Eyesight Podcast, and the producer of the new documentary Vision 2020: From Eyesight To Insight. He also founded Integral Eyesight Improvement, LLC. Be prepared to learn a lot! Please join us to learn how to correct your vision through some natural treatment options.
