How Does a Leader Lead with Vision?

Send us Fan MailThere are many aspects when it comes to leadership and leading those around you. When you think of the word “Leadership” what comes to mind. There’s always a debate whether you can lead and manage at the same time. By definition,  leadership is the action of leading a group of people or an organization. In this episode, we discuss how goal setting and planning goes hand in hand throughout leadership. As you come to understand the meaning, you will come to know leadership is to take ACTION! Leadership involves you taking action on a specific goal. How will you achieve that goal? And what are the steps to take action? In this episode, listen for:  Vision and Direction: When you have a vision, you want everyone involved and to know what's going on. What is a long-term goal, how do you see it panning out, who do you want involved?  Focus: now you have the vision and direction, how do you get everyone to focus on the end goal?  When everyone is focused on the same goal and working together, the workplace is productive.  Motivation: When everything is mapped out, people are more inclined to work toward that goal.  Performance and evaluation: There are times in which you have to change how business is getting done. If something isn't working, then you need to figure out what else you can do. In your leadership role, how do you stay focused and motivate those you work with to work towards the common goal?
