Consider a mother: she guards her child without regard for her own food or sleep, ready even to sacrifice her life so the child may live in health, prosperity, and happiness. If such greatness belongs to a mother blessed with divine motherhood, then you who have attained divine realization must live with love, compassion, patience, and freedom from jealousy, uplifting and blessing all who come. Nothing else should dwell there.That is why today we witness your loving nature. Once you wondered who was arriving at UPF ashram and what their purpose was. But not anymore. This ashram alone is not your world; this earth alone is not your world, the entire universe is yours. Even if someone were to arrive from Mars, you must welcome them with goodwill. In ages to come, beings may even come from distant moons near Jupiter. Intelligent life like ours may exist there, and when they come, they should feel no fear of difference.How then should you receive all who come? When one descends from the soul-state (Atma) to the body-state, emotions arise. When one remains in the mind-state, perception alone operates. But when one abides in the Atma, no difference exists.
