He has a keen interest in the field of biomechanics, physical activity for the elderly, and physical exercise and sleep respiratory disorders with an emphasis on cardiovascular variables. Currently, he is a substitute professor in the Department of Physical Education at the Federal University of Pernambuco and the coordinator of research and extension for the physical education course at the Pernambucana School of Health.
