How Generational Trauma Affects Us

Join us for an insightful episode as we dive into the impact of generational trauma and how it shapes our lives. In this conversation, we’re joined by two incredible leaders in our community: Jalen, our DVHRT Coordinator, Youth Program Facilitator, and Life Coach, and Julius, our dedicated DV Advocate and Life Coach. Together, they’ll explore the deep-rooted effects of trauma passed down through generations, discuss strategies for healing, and share their experiences working with youth and families. Tune in for an engaging discussion on breaking cycles and building resilience. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence and wants to file for protection, please call us. We will guide you through each step of the process. Confabulation is a podcast run by Our Sisters’ House, a domestic violence advocacy organization that provides advocacy and education for victims and survivors of domestic violence.
