How I Used Clarity Cycles to Make School Change Happen

from Catching Up with Casey · host Casey Watts, Clarity-Driven Speaker, Author, Leader

Last month one of my podcast episodes was all about Why Tier 1 Instruction is Collapsing. I reviewed response data from a variety of stakeholders about this concept and the evidence was clear- everyone knows that Tier 1 instruction is lacking and almost everyone wants to place their focus on improving Tier 1 instruction in their school. But what wasn't clear to stakeholders is HOW exactly to make that happen. You see, we can encourage staff to provide high quality Tier 1 instruction. We can even make "Tier 1 Instruction" our campus instructional goal... But that's simply not enough and will only result in frustration, confusion, or, at best, minimal improvement. And that's because what people need more than anything is CLARITY. In this episode, I'm going to be sharing about how I've been able to make school change happen through the Clarity Cycle Framework. I'll share about the steps of a Clarity Cycle and tell you my own personal story. Come join me to learn about all the ways you can use a Clarity Cycle to make school change happen!
