Marshan also has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, training, strategic planning, and community engagement.Marshan received her DrPH in Health Administration and Policy, with an emphasis in Public Health Leadership from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and also teaches as an adjunct professor at Oklahoma State University.
