How Pilates Will Change Your Body

from FitMinute Podcast · host Gabrielle Mazar

Kris was first introduced to Reformer Pilates in 1994 at a health spa in Tucson. As a professional bowler, she used resistance and stretching – Pilates incorporated both! She wanted to open a Pilates studio, but was the owner of Zahn’s Tempe Bowl. In 2008, she was a client at a Pilates studio that closed and she jumped at the chance to reopen it. Pilates Tempe was born! Her business experience is extensive. She owned and operated a bowling center, consulted with other owners, and created a national high school bowling program as the National Dir. of High School Bowling. She is not shy about speaking to people due to her years a motivational speaker, Color Analyst for the Ladies Pro Bowlers Tour on ESPN, and Asst. Dir. of Admissions at a college in Philadelphia. Kris knew she loved teaching from her years as a Bowling Coach and her degree from Temple University. She had found her new career, which meant mat & apparatus teacher training, followed by barre and LifeStretch®. She is at her happiest when teaching and making clients say “RIBBIT”!
