A lot of times, your client’s got an insurance policy and has no idea what it entails. You might find that they’re under-insured, or they may have a policy that doesn’t fit their needs. Don’t be afraid of being pushy. Many clients don't understand insurance or they don't know what they need, and it can really hurt them in the end. With this in mind, stop worrying about being pushy and focus on the added value you’re bringing to the table. Does a name brand really matter? Whether it’s State Farm, Nationwide, AIG, etc… every insurance company will generally have the same base coverage. The big difference is in the price.
